Official Visit as ASMACS President Visits Hon.Chief Eddy Obinna

Today, Comr. Nwankwo Ihechimere Philip visited the Honourable member representing Aboh mbaise state constituency in Imo state house Assembly, Hon.Chief Eddy Obinna (Ochudo Aboh mbaise).

During the encounter, Asmacs President, Nwankwo Philip told the Honourable house member of the association of mass communication student's proposed alumni programme, seeking for initiative and governing advice.

The house member commends Nwankwo Philip for coming, as the latter assures him of his support, the former also assures him that his labour and contributions in PDP cannot be forgotten.

SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA ADMISSION 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION

All 2019/2020 UTME candidates who applied to study in Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri as an Institution, First or Second choice with a UTME Score of 180 are requested to forward online to www.fedpolynekede.edu.ng the following particulars:
(a) O'level Result (WASSCE, NECO and NABTEB).
(b) 2019/2020 UTME Score
(c) JAMB Subject combination for the course applied.

In addition, a Screening fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only should be paid on the remita platrorm at any commercial bank
nationwide.

Duration: All submissions and payments must be completed on or before 30th August, 2019.

NOTE: Candidates are advised to change to Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri as their First Choice Institution and also note that any wrong information given disqualifies the candidate.

ASMACS present as the Nigerian Army DCMA Sensitizes Online Media Influencers

In a seminar organized by the Department of Civil Military Affairs in partnership with Security Affairs, the Chief Executive Officer of Security Affairs Limited, Mr Austin Peacemaker sounded a note of warning that actions of social media influencers and bloggers affects the peace and security of the Nigeria.

The Head of Department, Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Mrs Sheba Garbson expressed happiness at the seminar, she said the meeting has revealed the human face of the Nigerian army, in addition to that she used to have a negative impression of the Nigerian army as a brutal and inhuman force, but that perception has changed.

In his address at the occasion, Chief of Army Civil Military Affairs, Major General Usman Shehu Muhammad said the the department was formed to foster necessary partnership between the military and members of the society to promote what the army does

The president of ASMACS, Nwankwo Philip also commended the Nigerian Army on efforts to maintain peace in the country, as he also pleaded with the Chief of Army Civil Military Affairs to utilize his good office to also fight insurgency.
