Idjerhe Grammar School Alumni Association Honours Distinguished Alumni, Elects New Executive
It was a day of honour for the crème de la crème of Idjerhe Grammar School Old Students' Association (IGSOSA), involving all old boys and old girls of the College who came from all walks of life to grace her 2nd National Conference Lecture tagged: Cultism, Internet Scam And Ritual Killings As It Affects The Society",
The activity marking the 2nd National Conference Lecture, was preceded by a courtesy visit on the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM King Monday Obukohwo Arthur Whiskey (JP), UDURHIE 1, presentation of moral values titled: "The Effect of Immorality in Our Society" to students of the College at the Assembly ground and novelty match between school team and old students, held at the College premises, Jesse Town, during the weekend.
The ceremony was a remarkable one to behold as it did not only provided the old students the opportunity to meet with their old classmates and teachers, but it signalled the home coming of distinguished Alumni that saw the presence of the Chairman of Board of Trustees, Chief Monday Iyore Osagie and other members of the Board who presented awards to distinguished and deserving awardees.
The ceremony which climaxed into election of new executive to pilot the affairs of the association for the next four years, returned unopposed the incumbent National President of the Association, Mr. Fidelix Omamogho, and other members of the Exco to serve for second term.
The Exco members returned unopposed for second term are the National Vice President, Mrs. Edirin Ejiroghene; National Secretary, Chief Wilson Okporua; National Treasurer, Mrs. Ruth Ozoude; National Legal Officer, Her Worship, Mrs. Esther Omavueze; National Auditor, Mr. Joseph Nana and National Social Coordinator, Mr. Harrison Akpaka.
Other officers elected are: National Publicity Secretary/PRO, Mr. Lucky Oyibo; National Financial Secretary, Mrs. Doris Young Mokpe, National Assistant Sec
