FIRST BATCH ADMISSION LIST FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

I have been directed to forward herewith first list of students admitted into undergraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. The list consists of candidates who chose Sokoto State University, Sokoto as their First Choice during the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) exercise and the Direct Entry (DE). Candidates were selected based on their performance in the UTME.

Please note that some candidates were transferred from the programme of their choice to other programme based on their UTME score, UTME or O’level subject combination and other criterion for admission.

Students whose names appear on the list and are yet to accept admission are hereby advised to log into their JAMB e-facility account created during JAMB registration, accept and print JAMB Admission Letter.

ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2023/2024 ADMISSION HOLDS BETWEEN 7TH AUGUST AND 6TH SEPTEMBER, 2023

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Sokoto State University, Sokoto through the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) and chose the Institution as their most preferred
institution (i.e. FIRST CHOICE), with a minimum score of 140 in the UTME that the online screening exercise for the 2023/2024 Academic Session commences on Monday 7th August and ends on Wednesday 6th September, 2023.

DE candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of the A’level (Diploma,
NCE, IJMB, etc) certificate/notification of the result on the University portal.
