UNIJOS 2017/2018: ADMISSION INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF REMEDIAL SCIENCE

Candidates who applied for admission into the institution are hereby informed that the Department of Remedial Science of University of Jos has released her admission.
Applicants are therefore advised to check their admission status on the University website through the following procedure:

1. Log on to mis.unijos.edu.ng

2. Click on continue registration below the application form

3. Log in with your email address and password

4. Click proceed to application area and
Click activity menu on your personal details

5. Finally click on admission status to view your admission

NOTE:
All successful candidates are expected to report to the Department of Remedial Science for Registration upon payment of an acceptance fee of N25,000.00 only.

JAMB 2018: UTME EXAM DATES AND REGISTRATION FEE ANNOUNCED

Be informed that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has proposed a date for the 2018 examination.

According to the JAMB boss, Prof Oloyede, the board has proposed March 9 to 17 for the commencement and conclusion of the 2018 UTME. He equally stated that the board is taking into cognisance dates of other public examinations.

He made this known during a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday with stakeholders on the plans and programmes for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, and Direct Entry, DE.

He further stated that the Mock examination is expected to be held from January 22 to 24 for interested candidates.

“The mock examination is starting the same date the sales of form is ending”

“Eye glasses are to be examined properly before candidates are allowed into the examination hall,” he said.

It was also disclosed that the price of the 2018 UTME Registration Form will be N5000 as it was for 2017.

UI 2017/2018: DLC ADMISSION ANNOUNCED

Interested candidates should be informed that the institution welcomes application from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into the six available Degree Programmes of the Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.

The programmes are:

(1) B.A. English,
(2) B.A. Philosophy and Public Affairs,
(3) B.SC. Psychology
(4) B.SC. Economics
(5) B.SC. Political Science
(6) B.SW. Social Work.

The programmes are run under the University's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Platform.

The University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (UIDLC) is an arm of the University responsible for providing Open and Distance Learning University Education.

This mode of education is technology-mediated and provides for minimum physical interaction between the learners and the facilitators.

DLC learners are spread across different locations within and outside the country because of the convenience of access which is made available by this mode.

It is noteworthy to further inform prospective candidates that the academic activities of UIDLC are
facilitated by the same lecturers as the regular mode of study.

The issuance of the same certificates as obtainable in the conventional university system is also assured.

This is technically referred to as PARITY OF ESTEEM- both categories have equal rights and privileges.

At the moment, the Centre has six academic programmes which are fully accredited by the National University Commission (NUC).

The Centre is assiduously working towards having four new programmes and five re-validated programmes.
This would be in addition to the existing six programmes.

These new programmes include:
(1) Nursing
(2) Computer Science
(3) Sociology
(4) History and Diplomatic Studies.

While the old programmes which revalidation are being sought are:

(1) Guidance and Counselling
(2) Educational Management
(3) Library Information and Archival Studies
(4) Adult Education
(5) Statistics

NOTICE: It is advisable for prospective candidates to carefully study the
admission requirements before making payment for the form, as application that does not meet the requirements will not be accepted by the admission portal.

However, candidates who have sat for the University’s Post-UTME are exempted from obtaining application form of the Centre as they will be considered for admission upon the presentation of their ‘O’ level results and post-UTME scores at the Admissions Unit of the Centre.

UNIPORT 2017/2018: MERIT ADMISSION LIST RELEASED

Candidates who applied for admission into the institution should be informed that the management of University of Port-harcourt (UNIPORT) has released the Merit Admission List for 2017/2018 academic session.

The names of admitted candidates are contained on the Pdf Document which can be downloaded and viewed from the school website (www.uniport.edu.ng).

NOTE:

-Candidates seeking admission in the 2017/2018 academic session should login to the JAMB website and click on CAPS to check their admission status, and click on accept/reject button to either accept or reject the offer.

-Candidates whose admission status show "not admitted" should keep checking the JAMB website for further updates.

-Candidates should please note that the Admission List will be published in batches on the University's website as they are processed. Candidates are therefore advised to keep on checking the university's website for the Admission List.

-Those offered provisional Admission should proceed with the Acceptance and Registration processes. The procedure will soon be made available.

UNIMED 2017/2018: REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR NEW STUDENTS

Newly admitted students should be informed that the management of University of Medical Sciences, Ondo (UNIMED) has announced the registration procedure for all newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry students in 2017/2018 academic session.
The detail are as stated below;

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR NEW STUDENTS (UTME/DE)

1. Visit JAMB Website & Print your Admission Letter.

2. Visit the University Portal on
www.unimed.edu.ng/portal

3. Click on Check Admission Status to know your admission status and Accept It

4. Click on Payment to make payment for Acceptance Fee online and print evidence of payment or Generate Payment Invoice to pay through commercial banks via e-tranzact platform.

Visit the portal thereafter to Confirm your Payment by carefully entering your Payment Confirmation No if payment was made through commercial banks.

5. Click Account Creation to Create Student Account and Subsequently Log In to fill all required forms.

6. Download & Print Completed Forms in 4 Copies.

7. Proceed to Bursary Department to obtain receipt for payment of Acceptance Fee.

8. Proceed to Academic Affairs Office for Screening (from Monday 13th November 2017) with 4 Copies of Printed Forms, Original Copies of Credentials – JAMB Admission Letter, ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level/B.Sc Result, Local Government Attestation Letter, Birth Certificate, Letter of good conduct from reputable person in the society, 4 Passport sized photograph, Acceptance Fee Receipt from Bursary Department.

9. On Successful Clearance, proceed to pay for School Fees, Internet Access and Accommodation Fees.

10.Log in to your Account and fill Course Registration Form.

11.Download & Print Completed Course Registration in 4 Copies.

12.Proceed to your Departmental Course Coordinator for endorsement of Registration Form

13.Proceed to your Department for Head of Department’s endorsement

14.Proceed to Dean of your Faculty for endorsement.

15.Thereafter, Submit your completed course registration forms to your Faculty Officer.

FUBK 2017/2018: ADMISSION LIST RELEASED

Candidates who applied for admission into the institution should be informed that the management of Federal University Birnin- Kebbi (FUBK) has released the admission list for 2017/2018 academic session.

However, the names of admitted candidates is not yet available online but has been pasted on the school notice board.

Successful candidates are hereby notified that confirmation of admission and registration starts on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Permanent Site of the University, along Kalgo-Bunza Road, Birnin-Kebbi.

FUPRE 2017/2018: RESUMPTION DATE POSTPONED

All Staff and Students of Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) should be informed that the resumption date for the 2017/2018 academic session has been postponed.

The resumption date earlier scheduled for Sunday, 12th November, 2017 has been postponed till further notice.
