Prof Nwokobi, the Vice Chancellor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), greetings and happy Sunday.
It is me Mazi Odera, SPECIAL ADVISER ON GOOD GOVERNANCE (SAGG) UNPAID, to the Governor and freelance adviser to those who want it, also pro bono.
A Captain of the Downtrodden and little voice of the Oppressed in the Eastern part of this Nation.
I come because obidogo fiaba aru (Critical situation arise), one of my Aunts who was an Adjunct Lecturer with COOU is making life miserable for me, by continual heaping lots of Financial burden on me, so this weekend I sat her down and demand to know why she always seek for Financial help while she is a Lecturer with ODUMEGWU OJUKWU University.
She narrated how Tales by moonlight become manifest in our Tetiary.
She explained that she and many others were hired by the previous VC in 2017 as Adjunct Lecturer, but never pay them before you took over as the VC, she said that while you took over you managed to pay them just one month, so 2017 – 2018 they get paid for only one month, nezienu ka families with Children of school Age will be drinking Garri for Job they did to help our state and children that will serve as our Future.
My Appeal, i know you inherited lots of Mix Up responsibilities, but as the School is continuum,it means you inherit the assets, inventory, debt, profit.
Now let me make a passionate appeal, kindly brush up your Church mind and also as Father, kindly find a place to knock out some fund and pay this people, they work for it and Bible said and I quote,
1 Timothy 5 VS 18 ”
For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”
I know you recovered some fund from the blocking of Ghost workers that has been in the system long before and cutting holes within the system, so it won’t be a big burden for you to stand on it and do the life Revival magic, rather a plus as the Oppressed Adjunct Lecturers will be throwing good prayers for you and God will look at you and smile that you did great.
I am off to Church, so I can fold my hand and take communion as a man that is Sinless.
Then near the Alter, so I will pray that God will touch your mind to settle this amicably, you know as JP that God love to answer me faster and I will ask him to throw blessing your way as you throw some to this Adjunct teachers in distress.
Mazi Odera POg JP heading off to Church with his Ekpere na Abu, while humming
“When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”
