TOPIC:THE MISTAKES OTHERS HAVE MADE
TEXT: Ezekiel 18:4; 2Tim.4:10
MANY in the Bible both in the Old and New Testament have made terrible mistakes and have suffered for it in this life and some have suffered eternally (John 8:32). We must know that no one can claim ignorance of the mistakes of others in the Bible, even in the present days of those who have sinned and suffered terribly. We must not allow the flesh or anyone to deceive us into the punishment that follows sin both now and in eternity (Ezekiel 18:4; Prov.28:13; Isaiah 59:1-2; Rev.21:8). Many who continue in these mistakes or ignore the warnings, have continued to suffer now and in eternity (Mark 9:43-38).

1. THE MISTAKES EXPLAINED AND REASONS
Every member, pastor, leader and worker should endeavor to study the Bible and take heed to the instructions for our good (2Tim.3:16-17). If anyone ignores the instructions, teachings and corrections of the Bible; such person will have him/herself to blame (Hosea 4:6; Psalm 119:130). When we read our Bible, we will discover how God called Moses, and many Israelites could not accept it, rather they opposed and rebelled against him; they suffered and perished in the wilderness (Numbers 16:1-13, 26-32). Many of them could not enter the Promised Land because they did not depart/learn from the mistakes of others (Numbers 14:27-35). Even Miriam and Aaron made the same mistake that others have made and suffered for it (Numbers 12:1-12-23). We all should realize that those who saw that it was the sin of rebellion, lack of fear of God and His Moses; murmured, complained, spoke evil of Moses/God etc.; but did not fear God and avoid the same mistakes perished. So, the reason for this message is that,we must not make the mistake others have made.
2. THE CONSEQUENCES AND OUR RESPONSE
Many grave consequences abound for those who do not learn from the mistakes and sufferings of those who did evil in time past. Those who continue in lying, murmuring,speaking evil of the church,pastor and those who continue to disobey and act contrary to the orderliness in the church and those who continue to steal, take church money or defraud the church,those who commit fornication,adultery or those who commit abortion, all those who refuse to learn from those who did these kind of things and suffered in time past,
