SOLIDARITY GREETINGS TO;

THE WORLDWIDE EXECUTIVES
UYO STUDENTS ASSOCIATION.

SUPREME COUNCIL OF CHAPTER HEADS.

CONGRESS MEN/WOMEN .

The executives of the Worldwide Association of Uyo Student's ,do hereby sincerely apologize to the entire Student of Uyo over the long sluggishness in activities and functioning by the Worldwide Body.

Firstly, we sincerely thank the Executive chairman of Uyo Local Government Area (Dr.Uwemedimo Udo Ph.D.) He fought hard to ensure the rebuilding of the WorldWide Structure, which through his effort we exist.
He availed him self during the inauguration on the 17th of June 2022 at the local Government Council where he made promises on behalf of the Local Government Council amongst which was;

1. #500,000 Naira takeoff grant to the Worldwide Executives.
2. And Payment of Bursary.

One year has come and gone, The worldwide Executive is crippled due to lack of funds to carryout her responsibilities.

The Worldwide Executives could not reach out to the various chapters and as such appears handicap.

The Executive Chairman did however sound a wakeup call on the 31st of March, 2023. Reassuring the payment of the takeoff grant he promised, and by setting up a committee for the payment of the bursary.
It's almost four Months now with no signs of any progress as against the one month interval that was promised.

Considering the economy situation of the country, the hardship and the struggles on daily bases.
1. Student of Uyo plead for the payment of Bursary .
2. The worldwide body plead for the release of the takeoff grant.

This is in no way trying to trigger violence, but just a peaceful way of sending signal across that student of Uyo are helpless and in distress .

We here by call on students to remain calm and wait for updates from the Worldwide body.
We pray we don't hit the streets of Uyo
For indeed
"Inside Aluta Gentle man no dey oh" .
