HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR O'LEVEL IS UPLOADED IN JAMB PORTAL

Here are the details on how to check an uploaded O'level result in the JAMB portal after using awaiting result for registration of UTME and Direct Entry.

Many candidates who apply for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and Direct Entry use awaiting result during their registration as they have not gotten their O'level results.

Although the awaiting result is acceptable by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB), the acceptance is temporal as any candidate who does not upload his/her O'level after using the awaiting result might stand the chance of losing his/her admission.

Many who have gotten or even uploaded their O'level results to the JAMB portal still ask for details on how they can verify that the O'level results were uploaded after using awaiting results during registration for UTME and Direct Entry.

To check if you have uploaded your O'level results on the JAMB portal, follow the procedure below to update your JAMB profile.

NOTE:-
Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS
indicates Awaiting Result.

1. Log in to your JAMB portal
2. Click on the Check Admission Status button
3. Click on Access my CAPS
4. Click on My O’level resultto confirm if your O’level is
uploaded.
5. If not uploaded visit any nearby accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to upload your O’level result.

HOW TO KNOW KNOW YOUR O'LEVEL IS UPLOADED IN SCHOOL PORTAL

1. Check the screening slip that was given to you after your online registration. Your nine subject is displayed there.

2. If you uploaded only five subject. Endeavour to go and upload the complete nine subject.

ADMISSION

Alot of Aspirants have been wondering and bothering when Aksu will finally give admission so that there can proceed to do their departmental screening.

Alot have been curious about their departmental cutoff mark and asking questions concerning thier scores from Comrades and their chances of having admission in Aksu.

BUT I HAVE A LITTLE TIPS FOR YOU
1. Proceed to a Cbt center to upload your awaiting result in both school and jamb portal if not you will definitely loose your admission

2. For those that had already uploaded their result both in school and jamb portal and the message that was released yesterday in the school website wasn't clear to them but had already uploaded again then there is no problem.

3. If you have done change of course for example you change from performing Art to history and international studies and the changes has reflected in Jamb portal but has not reflected in school portal definitely there is no cause for alarm. Everything will be fine.

4. Meet senior comrades in the course you aspiring for. So that you won't get confuse when you are given admission.

5. Jamb Caps has been enable if you see any institution offering you admission don't accept cause if you do you loose your chances of been admitted into Aksu.

6. Definitely by April or May there will be positive news concerning admission for Aspirant.

Once again stay alert
Avoid admission scammers
Always ask questions from the admin
And know the way forward in Aksu

MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ADVANCE

Good evening everyone

I received a message from an aspirants that a mail was send to her friend that she has been offered admission and that her screening is on the 10th of February, with the mail address [email protected].

Secondly she should proceed to pay her pre matriculation fee immediately.

Please if you come across this text in your mail. Please ignore it. Have told u guys earlier that a lot of people will parade themselves as admission givers just to extort money from you guys.

HOW TO ACCEPT YOUR ADMISSION USING MOBILE PHONE.

Prior to the last post I made concerning what Jamb Caps is all about, these are some steps to help you in accepting your admission through Jamb Cap when Admission procedure will start

Note: If you are using a phone, you may not see the option to check your Admission Status on CAPS. Most phone users may only see the welcome message. The caps page shows only welcome because it requires you to use desktop mode to view the complete page. This is why the chrome browser is recommended if you are a using a phone. All you need to do is go to Chrome option and choose request desktop site for the complete page to display as explained below:

1. Go to JAMB E-facility portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/

2. Supply your Email Address and Password in the required columns and then login.

3. Then locate and click on ‘Check Admission Status‘.

4. Select you examination year, supply your JAMB registration number in the required column and then click on ‘Access my CAPS‘ button.

5. You will be welcomed with a white screen like this: (you can click on the image for better view)

6. Select the three doted line at the top right-corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)

7. Select ‘Admission Status‘ on the left panel.

8. Locate and click on the ‘Search‘ button in front of your JAMB Registration Number to load your profile.

9. You can now accept/reject your admission offer under ‘Admission Profile’.

ABOUT JAMB CAP

The JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is an admission processing system that is geared towards ensuring quality control, transparency and credibility of the admission process. JAMB CAPS makes provision for a “market place” in the JAMB portal where institutions can go and “request for students in Nigeria who score their cut off points.” If you are offered admission on the JAMB CAPS portal, you can choose to accept or reject the admission.

According to JAMB, the new policy makes provision for a ‘market place’ in the JAMB portal where institutions can go and ‘request for students in Nigeria who score their cut off points.’

These institutions will write to JAMB to request for the students and also give them (students) three days to respond. Also, only three universities can request for a candidate if the policy is adopted. The new policy is also allows institutions in Nigeria peg their cut off point after meeting with their respective senates.

The new policy also gives the academic board or senate of an institution the power to ‘allocate percentages to JAMB, the school and O’level results as these will be calculated to get the students’ cut off marks for post-UTME.’ JAMB wants to ensure there is a unified time for admission in all universities and there is now portal for admission which is be based on cut off points, quota system and catchment areas.

“The new system is such that institutions can only admit those who meet their cut off points,” according to an admission officer for a tertiary institution. “If a candidate does not meet the cut off, no matter whom he or she knows, such person cannot be admitted.”

Also, the JAMB CAPS now makes provisions for candidates to accept and reject any admission being offered to them.

CAPS also looks out for candidates who are unable to go for National Youth Service, NYSC, because they do not have JAMB admission letters. This students can now pay a fee for regularisation and go for Youth service.

ASK QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE SCHOOL PROCEDURE SO THAT YOU WONT MISS OUT AND START BLAMING VILLAGE PEOPLE.

1. Have you uploaded your Waec result to jamb portal or you still waiting for late kick off

2. Have you chat up any senior colleague concerning d course you applying for. So that you can get more hint on the department.

3. Have you checked to ask the Admins how many people Aksu do admit in each department across the two campuses.

4. Have you tried asking what was last year cut off mark for each course so that you can know your stand.

5. Have you get acquainted with all Aksu first hand information. When admission procedure will commence.

6. Have you check your Jamb CAP to see if other institution have given u admission. So that you decide what to do.

7. Do you know how to check your admission status in CAP. So that wen admitted you won't loose your admission after 72hours.

8. Have you drop your desired course so as to also meet a course aspirant going for the same course.

If not then truely u will miss out wen vital information will be given out.

A BEAUTIFUL MORNING

TIPS
1. First semester examination in Aksu is coming to an end before 10th of December all Examination will come to an end. While second semester will resume 14th December 2020. Probably by that time or January admission procedure will start.

2. "BEWARE OF SCAMMERS" alot of people are parading themselves as admission givers telling you that there will give you admission or they have someone in Aksu that will give you admission. My dear it a lie don't get yourselves exploit by these people cause if you do you will regret it. If you see any Spam write up or scam one please report the post so that such people will be block from the group while we also try by deleting their post too.

3. For those that their campus will be Obio Akpa. Please if you using MTN biko kindly drop that MTN simcard and get a GLO or Airtel simcard to avoid story that touches the heart biko. MTN network is as dead as a deadwood.

4. Also get ready and prepare to climb hills due to it topography. That one of the stress you will go through as a student of AKSU.
