*POGRASU EXECUTIVES AND ELECTORAL BOARD VISITS THE DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR ACADEMIC AND ADMINISTRATION, UNIVERSITY OF UYO*

On the 31st January 2024 at about 1pm, The President of POGRASU Rev. Comrade Edidiong Archibong with Executive members and some Electoral board members paid a courtesy visit to the Newly appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor(s) ACADEMIC PROF. ANTHONIA ESSIEN and ADMINISTRATION PROF. ANIEKAN OFFIONG in his Office.

During the visit, The President of the Union Rev. Comrade Edidiong Archibong congratulated them on their elevation and appointment into their new offices.
He extolled the Vice Chancellor, Prof Nyaudoh Ndaeyo for his Strides and achievements so far, as well as his support to the Postgraduate School and the Union. The President interacted with them on issues that bothers the postgraduate students and possible ways to tackle them. The DVC ACADEMIC AND ADMINISTRATION responded to the concerns raised, appreciated the Union Leaders for the Visit, encouraged them to continue to synergize with the management at all times and promised to communicate the concerns raised, to the Vice Chancellor as well as ensuring a smooth working relationship between the students and the management.

After the interaction,The President Rev. Comrade Edidiong Archibong offered Prayers for the Vice Chancellor, DVC'S, Management Staff and the entire Students of the University.

Rev. Comr Edidiong Led Admistration is still working for the interest of Post graduate students. The passion to serve keeps us going.

EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION

The general congress of Graduate students association (GRASA) held on 16th February, 2023 was successful. We sincerely appreciate those who turned out for the congress.

All critical areas that bothers on the welfare of members and the constitution of committees to enhance efficient and effective administration shall form topmost priority in the Rev Comr Edidiong Archibong led administration.

We crave that members of GRASA should show commitment and loyalty to this prestigious association by lauding and promoting the tenet of GRASA ideologies.

The Grasa President, Rev comrade Edidiong Archibong and All members of the Executives reserve unalloyed commitment to making GRASA more formidable and popular in the face of students community.

*REMINDER NOTICE FOR GENERAL CONGRESS*

You are invited to the general congress which will hold today 16th February 2023 at new Education block up. This meeting will encompass all GRASA students in university of uyo. The reason for the congress is to discuss issues affecting GRASA and vital solutions to those issues. We would also appoint committee members to represent us, please note that only people in attendance will be appointed and inaugurated.

Your presence will be appreciated as we need all members of graduate students Association (GRASA) to move the association forward.
