1. If you learned nothing, you will not continue.
2. Coming to the knowledge of truth is having the ability to distinguish between good and evil.
3. Continuing steadfastly means doing something without a break; doing the right things irrespective of opposing forces, and keeping on practising them.
4. You can only continue steadfastly when you have been convicted; conviction is what keeps you going.
5. Conviction can be developed.
6. You are not steadfast if the changes of the times change what the Lord told you.
7. Continuing steadfastly also means bearing fruit even in old age.
8. Keep on doing these things without giving up.
9. Don’t jump in and jump out; be a Christian.
10. Hebrews 11:17 explains what helped Abraham to believe in God.
11. The best way to bring to mind the word you have learned is meditation.
12. When you get to a point where you feel you’ve known too much already and need no more, you are backsliding.
13. To continue steadfastly, there must be something you have learned.
14. Resolve to explore Christ; go down on your knees to understand Jesus.
15. To be able to hold fast, there must be conviction about what you have learned.
16. For my convictions to stand irrespective of what comes, leg one is the study of the word, leg two is prayer.
