I weep for my generation 😭😭😭
If your interest in church is position, authority and money; you have lost Christ...
A native doctor revealed how a pastor came to him requesting the death of another higher pastor. He asked him why he wanted to end this pastor's life; he said: "I want to immerge as the leader of the church, because if he dies I am the next to be chosen".
What are we turning the church of God into? The church that Jesus Christ denied Himself a lot of pleasures and benefits in order to die for us! The church that made Him die on the cross! The church that He gave birth to at resurrection!
The time our pastors are supposed to be using to seek the face of the Lord, most of them are using it to deliberate and ceaselessly hunting for position and money.
No wonder there is lukewarmness in the church, because believers are no more studying the scriptures. We hear the same story every Sunday. Pastors that narrate Nollywood and Bollywood full season on the alter of ministration and you expect the church to be edified?
Sick people are now leaving the church to meet native doctors, herbalist etc because the church of today is no more "the balm of Gilead"
The secret of power and authority is the secret of the secret place with God...
When you see these men of God dragging and fighting for position, you will be surprised, and ashamed of yourself. You will wonder if they have received Jesus into their lives.
The truth remains that we have redundant believers who are truly very busy and busy doing nothing.
I question was raised last Sunday (Sunday School) in my denomination: Jesus commanded His followers to do greater works than Himself; the question is: Why have many believers not done even upto Jesus' standard? Then we discovered that the Church of this generation is sleeping and busy pursuing irrelevant things.
What do you expect when Pastors are fighting themselves on social media, Pastors conferences and branches? 21st century church is a mare social media church.
We are in the era Church leaders are in a competition. Pastor's preaching to outpreach the other Pastor. Abominable news of pastors sleeping with their members wives.
After fornication, what we hear next is: can I prophesy? Receive! Receive!! Receive!!!
What are we receiving? The spirit of fornication and adultery? Or what?
This has also shifted the zeal and passion of the young pastors for Christ. Instead of them to seek God for an unusual manifestation, they have become submission and loyal to the leader in order to be favoured by the leader.
Have you heard of "Father Abraham In some denominations where they transfer their pastors? It has become a ritual that the leaders at the top now favor some and suffer some. When you have someone at the top he will make sure you don't go to a village or where their is much work to suffer, while those that don't have anybody will be suffering.
There is Father Abraham In every transferable denomination, including mine.
Do they know the purpose God called you? Do they know the type of work God wants you to do. Ignorantum!... You won't ask. You will end up fulfilling your mission and not God's.
The Father Abraham will make sure, fight to ordained and promote them also, while the ones supposed to be promoted are being neglected and abandoned in village. Pastors are now paying money to be ordained and promoted. Church has turned to politics...
Error! Error!! Error!!! in the body of Christ! When you promote someone that has not been due for promotion, you are inviting problem to yourself, likewise when you refuse or neglect the promotion of somebody that is due, you are inviting problem to yourself.
A pastor that is heavenly conscious will not fight for position. A believer that knows that our stay here on Earth is but a few minutes will not soak himself into the world.
As a pastor, God has called you to manifest Him in your generation and not to start politics and selfish businesses in the church.
People might be doing it but don't join them. It is better to be without a position and fame and make heaven than for you to gain the whole world and loss your soul.
