Appreciation Letter to all FCE Yola Students.
Fellow Students,
On this day, I am filled with gratitude and humility. Serving as a Peace Club President in a college that has thousands of students, had been an incredible honor, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to have made a positive impact on our institution.
To the entire student body, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your support and cooperation throughout my tenure. Your active participation in our events, programs, and initiatives has been the driving force behind our success and I am proud of what we achieved together:
- Organizing successful peace conference and registering new ambassadors.
- building interfaith dialogue and understanding
- promoting conflict resolution and mediation between staff, students and the security unit.
-
- Building bridges between diverse student groups
As I pass the mantle to the incoming officials, I offer these words of encouragement:
To the Incoming Peace Club Executives,
As you assume your new roles, remember that leadership is not about titles, but about serving others. Be steadfast in your commitment to promoting peace, justice, and unity. Remain dedicated to the principles of inclusivity, empathy, and understanding.
- Stand for what is right and support each other in times of need.
- Innovate and expand our programs to reach more students
- Collaborate with other student organizations i.e SUG, SERVICOM, ADSSU and various departmental class representatives to build a stronger, more harmonious community.
To my fellow students,
As we move forward, I urge you to remain engaged, active, and passionate about creating positive change. Continue to support and participate in Peace Club initiatives. Hold your leaders accountable and encourage them to strive for excellence.
In closing, I leave you with a quote from Nelson Mandela: "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
May we continue to rise above challenges, may we continue to promote peace, and may we continue to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come. Above all, π«΅ Don't forget to Let your amour be in your books, it is where your sincerity will be justified.
Thank you once again for your support. I wish the incoming officials and the entire student body all the best.
*Long live Peace Club!*
*Long live our institution!*
Give Peace a Chance!
Ambassador: Emmanuel Jackson Maptara.
