LEAN is one of the student associations of Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, within the department of Industrial Engineering and Management.

This association consists of a board and a committee, formed by selected members from the IE&M FOR THE FIRST YEARS, EMERGENCY CONTACT: +31619187107 (NELA)

One of the things many students face is a culture shock. IE&M association will try to make sure this doesn’t happen anymore. The motto of this association is to make everyone close with each other, just like a family. The activities we would li

ke to provide the students with are:

1. Tutoring, language learning – the student buddy idea isn’t going so well, thus we would like to advertise more and include it in the association. The improvements would be made; tutoring would be available not only for one student, but also for groups (studying together).

2. Sport activities – the administrators of the association will organize friendly matches in Student Sport Centrum once every two months. During warm weather season, the matches can be more frequent.

3. Field trips – we believe it is beneficial for students to visit museums (not only in Eindhoven, but also in other regions around). In order to develop creative thinking, visiting modern art museums is very helpful for IE&M study. Furthermore, we believe it is important to include some highlights from Dutch history (Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, etc.). We will organised place, date and group tickets for the students.

4. Stratum parties – if the association turns out successful, we would like to organize Stratum parties (probably partner with TB association).
