Why is Kasperl Intelligenz philosophising about AI, the cosmos and the big questions of our time in the City Council Chamber? Why are researchers hiding clues and knowledge treasures throughout the city? Why is Deep Space from Ars Electronica coming to USTP for one evening only? It’s official! 🎉 The E³UDRES² Student Board is now part of the European Students’ Union (ESU)!

Representing E³UDRES² within ESU are Mihai from Politehnica University Timișoara (UPT) and Namya from JAMK University of Applied Sciences, bringing the voices and interests of students from across our partner universities to the European level. 🇪🇺

✨ Entdecke außergewöhnliche Performances, spannende Experimente, inspirierende Gespräche, kreative Workshops und überraschende Begegnungen in der ganzen Stadt. Betritt Orte, die du sonst ganz anders erlebst: das Bürgermeisterbüro, wo Musik, Astronomie und Mathematik in einem besonderen Klavierkonzert aufeinandertreffen, den Gemeinderatssaal, der zur Bühne für Kasperl Intelligenz wird, Tanzworkshops am Herrenplatz, das Stadtmuseum mit freiem Eintritt, die Stadtbücherei und die Bibliothek der USTP mit besonderen Geschichten, Lesungen und Performances. What can a simple wool fibre teach us about science and sustainability? 🐑🔬

At the STEAM Summer School “Pe Drumul Lânii” in Măru, Romania, children turned wool into a subject of research together with CIRCULATE – Centre for Circular Materials, Innovation and Education, an E³UDRES² research centre coordinated by Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara.

From looking at wool fibres under the microscope to testing how the material interacts with water and oil, exploring its thermal insulation properties and even creating natural glue, the activities brought science closer through hands-on experiments.

A small-scale activity with a bigger purpose: encouraging curiosity, circular thinking and a more sustainable way of looking at the materials around us. 🌱
