MESA is the study association of Media Studies at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. MESA is the study association of the bachelor of Media Studies.

The association aims to help the cultural and academic growth of its members as well as improve contact between them. Additionally, the association plays a vital role in promoting and introducing the bachelor to both new and prospective students. MESA is comprised of various committees, each with their own objectives to help us achieve our goals. Numerous events are organized all year round such a

Dear members,

We would love to invite you to our fourth and final General Members Meeting on Tuesday, the 16th of June.
Here, the 10th Board will present their end of year reports and evaluate their year.
Afterwards, the 11th Candidate Board will be introducing their Board Policy and, depending on your votes, (hopefully) be hammered in!👩🏻‍⚖️🌟

The GMM will take place at 1312.0024 in the Harmony Building from 18:00 o’clock. After the GMM, we will go out for some drinks to celebrate the amazing year we had, welcome the new Board and share some final drinks together before the summer☀️🐬🥂

You don’t want to miss the final GMM of the year, so we are looking forward to seeing you all there!🥹

🏖️The Event Committee ‘25-‘26 is bringing you our final event of the year, and we’re going out with a bang! Join us for an afternoon beach volleyball competition !!!🏐

📅Here is everything you need to know:

* Date: June 1st
* Time: 16:00 - 19:00
* Location: Beach Volley Club Groningen (Sportpark Coendersborg, Kooiweg 1, 9722 BZ)
* Dress code: Sporty clothes!

We’ll start with some casual volleyball games and finish with a friendly little competition later on.
Not up for 3 full hours of intense playing?
No worries at all! This is the perfect excuse to take a much-needed study break, hang out with friends, get that tan, and cheer your peers on. ☀️🕶️

Afterward, we’ll be heading out for dinner together with anyone who wants to join!
