Elections for the student delegation of the IR/IO Program Committee
From the 6h till the 13th of October, elections will be held for new members of the student delegation of the IR/IO Program Committee, which aspires at maintaining and improving the quality of the IR/IO degree program. Every student of IR/IO has the right to cast his vote during this election, but also to stand election himself/herself!
The program committee is a forum in which six students and six lecturers of the IR/IO department together discuss, cooperate and exchange ideas regarding the IR/IO degree program. The main responsibilities of the program committee are:
- To issue advice on the teaching an examination regulations
- To assess the implementation of these regulations
- To issue solicited and unsolicited advice to the Faculty Board and/or the Director of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies concerning all matters to do with teaching in the degree programme
If you are interested in posing your candidature for student member of the IR/IO program committee, you can apply by sending an email to [email protected] before the 4th of October 1 PM. This application email must contain a very short essay (max. 200 words), explaining why you are a suitable student member for the program committee, and a photograph. Note that both the short essay and photograph will be posted on the internet during the elections.
