On 16 March, researchers from Maastricht University and Maastricht UMC+ will kick off Brain Awareness Week during “Brains for Lunch”.

The session will be introduced by Prof. David Linden, Prof. Yasin Temel, and Prof. André Aleman.

Afterwards, the following researchers will share their expertise:

During Brain Awareness Week: Film & Talk, the 2019 documentary Hunting for Hedonia will be screened. Neurosurgeon Prof. Yasin Temel will introduce the film with a short lecture on deep brain stimulation and his work at Maastricht UMC+.

After the film, there will be time for discussion over drinks and snacks at the Faculty Bar.
