Our International Business students had the opportunity to explore one of Europe’s most innovative agricultural regions, gaining firsthand insights into sustainability and connecting with professionals and local organizations.

Beyond the educational experience, they immersed themselves in the local culture, built international connections, and created memories that will stay with them long after the trip ended.

China study trip : A Week to Remember in Wuhan 🇨🇳🌍

I had the opportunity to spend a week in Wuhan, where we worked in international teams on projects and solutions for various companies. It was an incredible experience that allowed us to collaborate with people from different cultures, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.

In these photos, you can see our last day in Wuhan, which was filled with emotions. After a week of teamwork and dedication, we had the chance to present the solutions we had developed together. It was both exciting and nerve-racking to showcase the results of our hard work.

At the same time, it was an emotional day because we had to say goodbye to our friends and teammates from China. In just one week, we created meaningful connections and unforgettable memories that will stay with us for a long time.

After our amazing days in Shanghai, our journey continued in Beijing 🇨🇳✨

Here, we had the opportunity to experience even more unforgettable moments. We visited the Xiaomi Factory, where we learned more about innovation, technology, and the fast-growing business environment in China. We also had the chance to visit the Beijing University of Technology and discover more about student life and education in China.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Great Wall of China an unforgettable experience and an incredible symbol of Chinese history and culture. We also explored some of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks, including the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.

The history, culture, and atmosphere of the city made this part of our journey truly special.

Now, we are ready for our next destination: Wuhan 🚄
There, we will officially start working together in our international teams alongside local companies, turning this experience into an even bigger learning adventure. We can’t wait to discover new challenges, gain more international experience, and create even more unforgettable memories together. Stay tuned for the next chapter of our journey through China

Over the past weeks, IB Maastricht students worked closely with , and Maastricht Health Campus on a project driven by one simple question: how can we make cycling safer and more sustainable? 🚲

With a lot of energy and commitment, students explored ways to encourage bicycle helmet use and storage, combining research, strategy, and creativity to address real world challenges in sustainable mobility. 💪🏻

Seeing their ideas grow into meaningful and practical concepts has been truly inspiring. A great example of education and innovation coming together. 🌱

We visited De Eifel and had the opportunity to present our challenge outcomes at Vogelsang IP, followed by a visit to Theo Hillers the next day. Both companies responded really positively and appreciated our ideas 🙌
