What an incredible and insightful skill seminar by Capgemini Invent on Sustainability Consulting at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) on October 26th!

Many thanks to the NHH CEMS alumni and consultants, Anna Silje Oanæs Andersen and Kasper Lie Asdal, who took the talented CEMS students for half a day to learn, reflect, and ask questions on the topic of sustainability and new economic models.

During nearly four intensive hours of lectures, case work, and presentations, we delved into various critical topics:

🌿 We explored the vital link between sustainability and business today, emphasizing the need for innovation.

🌍 We discussed the requirement for a radical shift in mindset and economic models for success in a changing world.

✋ Recognizing the increasing consumer demand for stricter sustainability standards from major brands.

♻️ Encouraging and challenging the consultants to embrace more sustainable practices.

Through the seminar, the CEMS students learned how consultancies operate, the role that they play within the area of sustainability, and how they can influence stakeholders to promote positive change.

In the last few weeks, students from Norwegian School of Economics had an amazing time at the Equinor offices in Bergen, Norway for a hands-on skill seminar.

We extend a huge thank you to Kristin Müller Thomassen and Runar Kjellstad Nygård for their expert insights into Equinor's Effective stakeholder engagement for the energy transition.

During this lively seminar, CEMS students dived into real-world cases, sharing and discussing their findings with facilitators and fellow attendees. Our students also got a sneak peek at internship and graduate opportunities at Equinor.

We're looking forward to more sessions like this with Equinor in the future. Thanks to everyone who made this seminar both exciting and enlightening!

We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Torsten Porwol, the Managing Director of CO2 Management! He recently hosted an incredibly insightful and engaging seminar on climate change and carbon capture solutions.

This event was part of NHH CEMS Sustainability Week and drew a fantastic crowd, including our regular students and CEMS students. Special thanks to everyone who joined, shared your insightful comments and questions.

During his talk, Torsten helped us piece together the climate change puzzle, with a focus on the role of CO2 in the mix. He also demystified carbon capture solutions and gave us a sneak peek into the remarkable work that CO2 Management is doing in the fight against climate change.

Our heartfelt thanks to Torsten for generously sharing his time, expertise, and his passion for a more sustainable world with us.

Inspiring Sustainability Careers with Alison Holm🔋❗️

As part of the NHH CEMS Sustainability Weeks we will have another event today at 14:15 PM🥳

Assistant Professor Alison Holm from Nova SBE will give a talk about her interesting career path in sustainability🌳 She used to work for the OECD in Policy Analysis and Research, specifically on the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises📈

She is a CEMS alumna from CBS and LSE and has spent time as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University before starting as an Assistant Professor at Nova SBE🚀

The event will be hosted online from 14:15 to 15:00.
