"There were a total of 65 games in this year's competition. Game developers from the Levanger based study programme have won numerous awards before. However, this is the first time Nord students have won three of the prizes. This confirms the study's ability to prepare students for the global game industry."

Celebrating Student Success at the Norwegian Game Awards! 🎮🏆



Our Games & Entertainment Technology students have once again demonstrated their talent and hard work on a national stage, bringing home three of the seven prizes at this year’s Norwegian Game Awards:

🥇 Game of the Year – Replay

🎶 Best Audio Design – Life Under Pressure
- by 3rd year students Dan Ioan Pumnea, Aleksis Bojaruns, Erik Green Leth-Olsen, Eirik Smith Olsen, Janko Zorbas, Uliana Sechkar, Henrik Nilsen Aasvik, Javier Murillo Gonzálezl Tobias Haugstad and Paula López Román

This achievement is a testament to the high level of creativity, technical skill, and professional training our students develop throughout their studies. Competing against teams from across the country, they have shown that practical, hands-on learning in creative technology fields leads to real-world success.

As an international program within the Faculty of Social Sciences, based at Levanger campus, our students bring diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to game development. Their success highlights the strength of interdisciplinary collaboration, applied learning, and industry relevance—values that are increasingly shaping the future of higher education.

"I have a lot of fun with my studies, and I enjoy living in Levanger. It is a beautiful city, not too big and not too small. And it's such a nice location here by the fjord"
