Norwegian students can start their American university education in Norway, then finish in the U.S. After ACN you can go anywhere and study anything!

At ACN we will help you with selecting a school in the U.S., with visa application, help you choose courses, and help you with college/university applications! All while you complete your first year of your bacherlor's degree with us! Americans:
ACN is a great school to do a semester or year study abroad! We offer courses in English, taught by instructors from our partner universities.

What a day we had! ☀️

Yesterday, our summer school students headed out on their second field trip of the season! 🚌☀️

First stop: Deichman Bjørvika, Oslo’s main library and the largest public library in Norway. The students learned that this iconic building is so much more than just books - it's a massive, modern creative hub! Beyond traditional reading spaces, it features Folkeverkstedet (a public space equipped with 3D printers, sewing machines, and more) as well as professional podcast and recording studios. 🎧🤖

Afterwards, the trip continued to the Intercultural Museum (Interkulturelt Museum) in Grønland. This museum focuses on utilizing art and history to bridge cultural gaps, challenge prejudices, and highlight migration history in Norway. 🌏

We hope everyone had a fantastic day of learning outside the classroom!

Yesterday, our summer school students went on their very first field trip to Oslo 🇳🇴

The group spent the day exploring some of Oslo's most iconic landmarks, including the Opera House, Karl Johan gate, Oslo City Hall, and the Royal Palace, where they experienced the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Along the way, they also enjoyed beautiful views of the city and fjord while learning more about Norwegian history and Oslo.

It was a great day - and a great start to the summer school adventures ahead! ☀️

Today, our students had their last in-class exam, marking the end of their time on campus, which we of course celebrated with Norwegian waffles 🥳🇳🇴 The semester has been eventful and has gone by fast, and we will miss all our students. We wish them the best of luck with their final exams and their next chapters.

Last week, the students taking the Svalbard Travel Course went on the annual Svalbard trip!

The students explored the unique Arctic nature, spotted Svalbard reindeer, stayed safe from polar bears, and learned about Svalbard’s unique geopolitical status and local challenges like sustainability, attracting year-round visitors, and security. And of course, they enjoyed plenty of hot chocolate!

The program included visits with CEO of Visit Svalbard Ronny Brunvoll, a trip to the Svalbard Museum, and the guided bus tour "Longyearbyen in a nutshell" which included a trip to the Global Seed Vault. Students also participated in the Sun Festival (Solfestuka) that was happening the entire week ☀️
