BI Outdoor is a sub-unit of BI Student Organization (BISO Oslo), and is run for and by students at BI. Do you want to experience the true spirit of Norway? If so, you have to get out of the city limits. Oslo may be a nice town, but Norway is way more than what first meets the eye. We have got mountains reaching beyond the clouds, And hillsides running straight down to the sea. The fjords crawls de

ep in between the mountains creating spectacular views. In the winter you can ski from 1800m of altitude and straight into the ocean. In the summer you can enjoy weeks of hiking without seeing the same scenery twice. We want you to come with us, for a chance to get a little taste of what this country has to offer. We can promise you experiences you will never forget. If it is to climb some of Norways highest mountains. Or if you just want to come for a weekend paddeling a canoe with a group of people over the lakes in Nordmarka. We have set a goal, not to be the largest student association at BI, but to be the best student association at BI! The friendships that are created alongside the bonfire, enjoying a meal, and talking about the experiences you just had is a teriffic one. Norway is the birthplace of many adventurers, and this is a thing that all Norwegians are proud of. Throughout the year we will try to get some of the modern day adventurers to come visit us, so that you can hear about their journeys first hand! Hey guys,
BISO Outdoor is having another hiking trip on the 9th of May to Kolsåstoppen to relieve exam stress!!🎉. On Thursday we will meet at Majorstuen stasjon at 11 o’clock. Once everyone’s there we will start our hike and enjoy the top view of Kolsås 🏔️.

Several of you have been asking about how you can join BI Outdoor! 😀 The recruitment process is done via BISO’s recruitment portal (where all recruitment for BISO’s societies is gathered). Recruitment for all BISO-units happens during Recruitment Days (dates for which are set by BISO and will be announced by BISO later on). Stay tuned on our and BISO’s SoMe-channels for all the info! 😊

BI Outdoor has been named “Society of the Year 2020-2021” at BISO Charity Ball 2021! 🥇 We are so honored, proud and grateful! 🙏💪 Thank you so much to BISO Charity for the nomination!🥇🏆

There are plenty of «Thank you»s that are due! The feedback from the members so far have been that they all are super excited and happy that BI Outdoor won & the different activities that we’ve had in the midst of a pandemic, and within the current regulations!

And from the board (even though there is just one person there atm), a HUGE THANK YOU & MASSIVE APPRECIATION more than words can express to:

1) BISO Oslo & especially to this year’s management for being so easily accessible & approachable, supportive & helpful, which has made the implementation of our activities possible! It has been such a pleasure working and collaborating with you! Thank you for having the society’s best interests at heart! Thank you to Studentsamskipnaden SiO for funding our trip to Tusenfryd!

2) Thank you to BISO Bathing, BIISA, Bergensbaneløpet BI, BI Finance & KROA for collaborating with us! Thank you for being so open and inclusive, hence opening up more possibilities for what we could do for our members and for other BI-students!

3) Thank you to Nydalen Bryggeri og Spiseri, TusenFryd, SNØ, Rush trampolinepark Oslo & Oslo Badstuforening for having us!
