Dear MILEN friends, MILEN is being integrated in the new initiative on energy, called UiO Energy and the MILEN website and Facebook group will no longer be active. In the fall the FB-group will be changed to UiO Energy. MILEN wishes to express its sincere gratitude to all MILEN supporters and friends for their contributions to making MILEN a success and in preparing the ground for the work of UiO Energy. Thank you all!

MILEN will be integrated into the new and larger research area on energy called UiO Energy from July. The director is Anders Elverhøi.

UiOs nye satsning på energi - UiO: Energi tilbyr til høsten ett nytt tverrfaglig emne i bærekraftige energisystemer (ENERGI4010). Emnet passer for alle studenter med bachelorgrad fra SV-, HF- og MN-fakultetet.

In December most of the UN member nations agreed on a new climate deal: the Doha climate package. MILEN invites you to a lecture on the implications of the Doha deal by Christina Voigt, Dep. of Public and International Law, UiO on January 15th.

The lecture will discuss the equity implications of the recent Doha deal (8 December 2012), its history and its future. Christina Voigt, Law UiO will be holding this lecture. The seminar is part of the research school's ethic seminar series.
