What if god was one of us … just a slob like one of us… just a stranger on the bus .. trying to make his way home.

If God had a name what would it be?
And would you call it to his face?
If you were faced with Him in all His glory
What would you ask if you had just one question?

What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus

If God had a face what would it look like?
And would you want to see
If seeing meant that you would have to believe
In things like heaven and in Jesus and the Saints
And all the prophets?

What if there was always a perfect action for every moment?
And our intuition knew exactly what it was, but the thoughts in our mind and the feelings in our heart caused by those thoughts, disrupt our connection with our intuition.

Everything will be ok as soon as you are ok with everything.

Our mind is constantly trying to solve a problem. Constantly trying to fix things, change people, change ourselves, play around with different situations, all the time hoping for a little... just a little ... Peace of mind.

And yet most of what happens in our life is way beyond our control. Most of what life throws at us is way out of our radar.

As the saying goes...

‘Adult life is a bit like looking left and right before crossing the street, and then getting hit by an aeroplane'

It is beyond our control.

So why fret about the small stuff. Or even the big stuff.

Who is in there that's constantly trying to fix things ?...Who is that voice in our head thats constantly talking ? ... And most importantly,

Who is listening ?

When we learn to disengage from that voice... when we learn to create space from the commotion that the voice in our mind makes, it becomes easier and easier to see that life is perfect as it is.

It always has been and always will be.

We are perfect as we are.

YOU are perfect as you are. And so am i.

It is only the voice in our head that tells us otherwise.

And when we do learn how to turn down the volume of that inner voice..., when we learn to create distance between the voice that talks and the one that listens, we will hear clearly the whisper of our heart.

The whisper that has been guiding us all along.

Often times though being drowned out by the inner chatter of the monkey mind.

When we start to hear the whispers of the heart, we get reminded that ALL IS WELL. That everything will be ok as soon as we are ok with everything.

Some people call this whisper of the heart, the voice of god.

He never left.

Ever thought of starting something new ? ..Be it a business, project or new habit ? … but then you stopped because doubt crept in.

Remember there’s always going to be people who will tell you that you can’t do it. That you won’t make it.

Those who cannot do something, usually do everything they can to stop someone else from doing it.

Most of the time those ‘people’ are just the ones who live in your head through the voice that creates an internal dialogue.

Other times they may be actual people who may try to discourage you through taunting insults and discouraging ‘advice’.

To those people.. I say “F**k them”

To the voice in the head that creates doubts .. “F**k them” too

If you want something in this life, you got to go get it. Nobody is going to bring it to your feet.

And remember not everyone is going to understand your journey. Your dreams.

They are your’s, and therefore your responsibility to see it through to fruition.
