Dear all biology students.

On Friday September 9th from 10 we will have out very own career day in Store aud (E-101) in the NFH building. We have invited businesses who have employed biologist to tell more about their company and job opportunities. This is relevant for both Nordic as well as international students.
The businesses attending are:

For anyone who wants to play any of the board games belonging to AMB, you can contact Kristin Herstrøm to borrow them. The games are biology themed and might be fun to use to relate to studies. The four games you can borrow and their themes are; Photosyntesis (photosynthesis, growth, shading), Wingspan (bird diversity, traits, hoarding), Oceans (ocean, evolution, ecosystem), and Evolution Climate (terrestrial, evolution, ecosystem, climate). Remember to make sure the games are well kept (don't break things or lose pieces) and do not deconstruct structures (they fit in the box), so that they are sustained for future students.

Rooms are booked until 22:00, but you are finished after playing and having small discussions about relevance of the game's themes to reality/biology. I will go through the rules and help you out at the event. Register on the link to the excel sheet, because there can only be so many players (max 20). If you can't access the excel page, comment or send a message with your name and which game you want to play, then I will put you on the list.

-Wear mask if distance or fixed seating cannot be kept

I'm sorry to say that the board game event this friday, 22. Oct., is cancelled.
I am trying to set up an event again next friday, so I hope I'll see you then. The week after that I'll try to set up a board game event at another day in the week. Feel free to comment which day you prefer to have this event on.

AMB has purchased 4 different biology themed board games, that students can use. We will hold board game events where we play these games, and discuss their themes. These games are:
- Wingspan
- Photosynthesis
- Oceans
- Evolution climate

We have also borrowed 2 copies of the game Keep cool for this semester. Treat the games nice so that we keep them in good shape for future students😊 Hope to see you on the game events!
