Kathmandu University Human Biology Human Biology is an interdisciplinary program, focused on an area of biological science particularly Why HUMAN BIOLOGY program?

This program aims to produce qualified personal for teaching and research in Human Biology and related field. Medical Education in Nepal is growing profoundly; as a consequence there is a dearth of qualified professionals from basic medical science origin. Considering this, the program is designed to fulfil the need of professionals, competent enough to teach and conduct research in related field.

This course also is aimed at producing a group of highly proficient young scientists well versed in basic-medical and modern-biological concepts and techniques. The graduates after completing the course in Human Biology will be eligible and competent to teach basic medical sciences in MBBS as well as Nursing and other related programs in medical schools. In addition, they are also expected to build their career in research, especially in emerging fields like biotechnology and molecular biology.
