We love seeing where our students take their work. 👏

BFA student Jess Jameson took on her largest piece yet with What We Must Protect - an 8.5m Ă— 3.5m mural completed earlier this year in the foyer of the South British Insurance Company Building on Shortland Street, Auckland.

The work reflects Jess’s interest in the natural world and her hope that it encourages people to think about what we can each do, however small, to help protect it.

Hear Jess talk about the piece, what inspired it and the experience of taking her work into a public space.

A big moment for Whitecliffe 2025 graduate William Keane Jung-Ying Fitzgerald Jung-Ying. 👏

William’s label, Jung-Ying, has been featured by The Guardian as one of 10 key shows from New Zealand Fashion Week 2026, appearing alongside some of Aotearoa’s most recognised fashion names.

William studied the Bachelor of Sustainable Fashion Design at Whitecliffe after working in dance and costume-making, and has since launched his own menswear label, Jung-Ying. We’re so pleased to see his work now gaining international attention.

As the Official Education Partner of NZFW, we’re proud to support opportunities that help our graduates connect with industry and take their work further.

Congratulations William!

What could studying Fashion at Whitecliffe lead to? đź‘€

For Whitecliffe Fashion student Bella Sutton, it meant going behind the scenes at New Zealand Fashion Week through the NZFW x Whitecliffe Internship.

Bella got to experience different aspects of New Zealand Fashion Week — from ticketing and PR to working backstage, dressing models and helping with quick changes during shows.

As the Official Education Partner of New Zealand Fashion Week, we’re proud to help connect our students with broader opportunities across the fashion industry first-hand while they study.

A huge thank you to New Zealand Fashion Week Presented by Giltrap Group for giving our students opportunities like this, and Bella Isa Lane you did an amazing job! Thank you for sharing this video with us. We loved seeing New Zealand Fashion Week through your eyes.
