Great to be part of this conference for the first time and blessed to have met wonderful people from the Australasian Catholic Press Association.

Congratulations to the big winners! Ka pai!

For the first time since 2017, New Zealand hosted the Australasian Catholic Press Association conference. The gathering in Christchurch brought together many people working in Catholic media and communications from across New Zealand and Australia to connect, share insights and reflect on the theme inspired by Pope Leo XIV's message for the 60th World Day of Social Communications: "Preserving Human Faces and Voices".

Congratulations to the winners at last night's awards dinner, including Broken Bay News, which won the supreme award, and NZ publications Tui Motu Interislands and Kete Kōrero, who both received awards. Tui Motu editor Sr Ann Gilroy was also recognised with life membership in the association.
