Our students had the opportunity to gain valuable industry insight into precision electronics design and manufacturing, with a focus on how advanced electronic systems are developed and delivered locally for regulated and specialised industries.

The visit provided students with a practical understanding of the industry, including product design, engineering processes, precision manufacturing, quality control, testing, compliance, and industry standards.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-world engineering practices and understand how technical knowledge is applied in professional environments.

We were delighted to welcome Louise Jordaan to the International College of Auckland (ICA) as our guest lecturer.

Louise delivered an engaging and insightful session on "Fostering Workplace Wellbeing, Safety, and Strategic Stakeholder Engagement." The lecture explored the importance of creating healthy and safe workplaces while building strong relationships with stakeholders—essential skills for future professionals.

🏗️ Building Future Project Leaders at ICA! 👷📚

Our Civil Engineering students at the International College of Auckland (ICA) had the valuable opportunity to attend an Industry Project Management lecture delivered by a PMI-approved instructor.

The session provided practical insights into real-world project management practices used across the construction and engineering industries. Students explored key concepts including project planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, and industry best practices aligned with global standards.

At ICA, we believe that combining academic knowledge with industry expertise prepares our graduates to confidently meet the demands of today’s engineering profession.
