✨ Tamsin Bateman is an Investment Manager for Bridgewest Ventures, working at the intersection of science, innovation, and investment to help Kiwi deep-tech companies scale into global businesses.

✨ Dr David White is a biomedical engineer and commercialisation specialist whose work spans breathing technologies and neurological health — he’s supported 10+ start-ups and holds nine patents.

✨ Hanie Yee is the Executive Chair of RespirAq, bringing 25+ years in biotech, pharma, and medical device commercialisation from Genentech, Roche, and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.

✨ Dr Diana Siew is Head of Innovation & Strategic Relationships at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, helping researchers and founders turn breakthrough ideas into impactful health technologies.

And that’s a wrap… Thank you to all of our entrants for submitting their ideas to the $100k Challenge! 🥳🎉

We’ve received a record-breaking 151 entries this year!!!

After last years record of 122 entries, it was hard to think we would break the record this soon. It's been amazing to see so many students, staff, and other members of our community putting their ideas forward to take the first step toward turning their first-class idea into a worldwide adventure past few weeks.
