Mission Statement:
Angels Homecare NZ aims to provide a reliable person-centred carer promoting successful ageing in place for the client, support and integrity for the staff. She decided not to pursue her medical career here in New Zealand as she has found that there is a high demand in aged care in this country. She finished a postgraduate diploma in Health and Sciences major in Gerontology whi

ch is the study of the elderly at the University of Auckland. She worked in the healthcare sector for 8 years hence she has lots of experience in providing good quality of care to the elderly. She believes in ageing in place and agreed with the Ministry of Health that the elderly can stay in their homes as much as they can until they need a higher level of care and support. (Health of Older People Strategy, 2001)
Our Staff are trained to provide services tailored according to each of the client’s needs and most importantly capable in assessing the health status of the clients of which appropriate referral is followed. Connie can use her medical profession to explain to the client regarding the GPs management and medications. She can be an advocate during GP consultation.
