🏗️ Twelve tables, each with its own full set of brand-new 3D-printed terrain
🎨 Relaxed Battle Ready — primed with some colour on it
🏆 Bomb Squig miniatures for the top 8, plus Best Painted and Best Sport. Top three come mounted on a modelled podium.

📝 Rules locked as of 30 August (MFM 1.3). WTC FAQ in play for rules uncertainties.

⏰ Last call — ticket sales close at 6pm tonight. Our full-day tabletop RPG event is tomorrow.

UoA Midsem TTRPG One-Shots
📅 Sunday 30 August, 9:00am–6:00pm
📍 Arts Building 201, Rooms 342, 341 and 317 — University of Auckland

Five games running tomorrow across two four-hour sessions:
• A Grim Harvest (D&D 5.5e)
• The Song of Ibora (D&D 5e Theros)
• Magitropolis (D&D 5.5e)
• The Court of Masks (D&D 4e)
• Bottled Demon (Shadowrun 5e)

You pick your table on the day rather than booking ahead, and most games have beginner-friendly seats. No experience needed, and no need to bring a group — plenty of people come on their own.

🥪 Lunch, snacks and drinks are included in your ticket. On the menu:
• Beef brisket sliders
• Chicken wraps and veggie wraps
• Mini quiches
• Greek salad and potato salad
• Veg sticks and hummus
• Caramel pretzels

We're cooking today, and tonight's shop is based on final ticket numbers — so buying this afternoon still counts toward what we make for you.

🕘 Doors open 9:00am, we start seating people into games at 9:15, so aim to arrive by 9.

The dice have been rolled and times were shared but somethings must come to an end ✨️🎲

Double one shots has been a resounding success and we The Auckland Role-Playing Guild would like to thank the GM's and players for making this event awesome 🎉🎉🎉.

We'd like to also thank the our committee members for making sure the event runs smoothly so give yourself an applause 👏.

We plan to have more events like this so keep an eye an out 👁.

🎲 Double One‑Shots — THIS WEEKEND (Update) 🎲

Our April Double One‑Shots event is getting close, and we’ve got some exciting updates to share.

We’ve confirmed two more GMs, bringing us to 8 GMs across the day, and added two new one‑shot adventures to the lineup:

🕵️ Unexpected Homecoming (Call of Cthulhu)
A morning session investigation set in 1920s New York, where the party is asked to help a desperate mother find a missing child.

🐉 Rise of the Redscales (Dungeons & Dragons 5e)
A single‑session afternoon adventure featuring rival kobold tribes left unsupervised in a dragon queen’s lair full of treasure and chaos.

🗓️ Saturday 18 April
⏰ 8:30am–5:30pm

This is a full‑day RPG event with two long play sessions and lunch included with your ticket 🥪

🎟️ Ticket prices
• $16 – Non‑members
• $12 – Club members (discount available)
• $8 – GMs (further discount for running a game)

As the event draws nearer, early ticket purchases make a real difference. They help us make sure all advertised games are well supported, seat players into the adventures they’re most excited about, and finalise catering so we know how much we can put toward extra snacks and drinks during the day 🍪🥤

If you have friends or an RPG group who would enjoy a full day of tabletop roleplaying, please encourage them to come along as well — the more people we know about early, the better the day we can put together.

ARPG is proud to present our 1st event of 2026: ONE SHOTS!

One shots is a TTRPG event, where we as a community gather players and GM's to play one shots together regardless if they are new or experienced.

A one-shot is a self contained adventure and made to be completed in a single session. This format of tabletop RPG's is the best way to introduce anyone to this hobby!
