Christine, originally from Vietnam, recently completed the AUT (AUT) Certificate in Foundation Studies at UP International College New Zealand.

Reflecting on her time in New Zealand, Christine says it taught her to become more independent, confident, and open-minded - changing the way she sees both herself and the world, even through the challenging moments. She credits her supportive teachers and the friends she made from all over the world for making her student life at UPIC unforgettable.

We are open. You are welcome.

University of Auckland International College students joined University of Auckland's Manawa Mai Open Day on Saturday.

In teams, students spent the day exploring the University up close, from Business, to Arts and Education, Engineering and Design, and Science, stepping into faculties well beyond the one they're planning to study in. It was a chance to get to know UoA on a much deeper level, discover options they hadn't considered before, and leave feeling more inspired about what their future at UoA could look like.

Thank you to the University of Auckland team for hosting our students throughout the day.

University of Auckland International College held online workshops this week for UoAIC and PLP parents, giving families a closer look at their child's academic progress and the support available ahead.

Each session opened with a short overview before moving into a live Q&A, with most of the time spent answering questions parents had submitted in advance - giving families direct access to the people supporting their child's studies, not just a general presentation.

Parents who completed the workshop feedback survey went into the draw to win a NZ$50 voucher for their child.

Foundation Studies students at the University of Tasmania International Pathway College (UTASIPC) recently took on the role of lead researchers, designing, running, and presenting their own psychology studies.

Students were guided step by step through the scientific process, tracking their progress on Padlet and receiving individual consultations along the way. The experience concluded with a poster presentation session held in the foyer of UTAS's Centenary Building, where students shared their findings and the work they'd built from the ground up.

By driving their own research from hypothesis to final reflection, these students got a firsthand look at what it means to think like a scientist.

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) held its first China Open Day last month, meeting one-on-one with prospective students across Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing.

Sessions covered entry requirements, the AUT Foundation Certificate pathway, and how it connects into AUT's undergraduate programmes, giving students the chance to ask questions specific to their own academic background and receive direct answers from AUT representatives.

Several students also secured interview scholarships on the day, delivered by UP International College New Zealand, the exclusive provider of the AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies.

Thank you to the AUT team for making the trip and meeting with students across all three cities.

Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) () has launched a new Student Ambassador Programme, giving prospective students the chance to speak directly with current students about study and campus life before they enrol.

Students can chat directly with ambassadors about courses, accommodation, employment, and life in New Zealand, with answers coming from people who have studied there themselves.

Eric, an MBA graduate from AIS, is the programme's first ambassador, with more students expected to join in the coming months.

Students can access the platform at ais.ac.nz/talk-to-a-student or through the link in AIS's Instagram bio ().
