It always seeks to provide itself with high quality academic and administrative staff and the addition of new majors required by the community and to develop its already existing capabilities. Mazoon University College is affiliated with Missouri University of Science & Technology, U.S.A., one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the U.S.A., well known for its science , technology and mining Programs. It presents more than 55 majors in different fields, and is an internationally accredited university. It presents high quality education to cope with the latest developments in various educational fields and has students from different parts of the world. The academic life at Mazoon College is based on respecting the individual, developing the human capabilities and directing them to serve the individuals as well as the whole people. Therefore, we are primarily interested in building up good human beings in the community, developing her/his abilities, seeking their potentialities, enhancing their patriotism and sense of belonging to the community and their awareness of the requirements of the present era. The College provides its services to all the people of society based on justice and equity without discrimination. It seeks to develop the special skills, the individual and group sense of responsibility of its students by helping those students to gain the knowledge and the required training in order to achieve the desired aims, exploring their potentialities and applying the knowledge which they have learned. The College also seeks to develop the students’ intelligence, values and ethics in a way that enables the student to choose the way of life towards a better prosperous future. The College has two studying systems: the morning classes (the Full Time Classes), which is solely for female students and the Evening Classes (the Part Time Classes), where both male and female students can attend. استعرض الاجتماع برامج الكلية ومؤشرات التدريب والتوظيف والخريجين، وناقش توافق مخرجات التعليم مع احتياجات سوق العمل والمهارات المطلوبة لتعزيز جاهزية الطلبة والخريجين.

Strengthening academic collaboration with other educational institutions in Oman, Dr. Maryam Ghaffri and Mr. Mohamed Elamin from Mazoon College presented two research papers at the GFP National Conference, hosted by the School of Foundation Studies at The National University of Science and Technology.

1. Humanities Department, Humanities Club proudly participated in the event held at PDO on 5 May 2026. Dr. Jameela Khatoon and five students organized a workplace mental health and wellbeing booth to promote awareness, self-care, and healthy coping strategies.
Goodie bags containing stress balls, coping handouts, notepads, and scented candles were distributed to encourage relaxation and stress management. The booth received very positive feedback, and attendees highly appreciated the activities and wellness items provided.

شارك قسم العلوم الإنسانية ونادي العلوم الإنسانية في الفعالية التي أُقيمت في PDO بتاريخ 5 مايو 2026. حيث قامت الدكتورة جميلة خاتون وخمسة من الطلبة بتنظيم ركن خاص بالصحة النفسية والرفاهية في بيئة العمل بهدف تعزيز الوعي، والعناية الذاتية، وأساليب التكيف الصحية.
تم توزيع هدايا تذكارية تحتوي على كرات تخفيف التوتر، ومنشورات حول كيفية التعامل مع ضغوط العمل، ودفاتر ملاحظات، وشموع عطرية لتشجيع الاسترخاء وإدارة التوتر. وقد حظي الركن بتفاعل وإشادة كبيرة من الحضور والمنظمين، الذين أعربوا عن تقديرهم للمعلومات والأنشطة والهدايا المقدمة.

Mazoon College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamaken - A Training Initiative by Al Harub Medical Centre (AHMC). The agreement was signed by Dr. Hamood bin Amer Al Wardi representing Mazoon College, and Dr. Nutaila Al Kharusi, CEO & Founder of Al Harub Medical Centre, representing AHMC.
This collaboration represents an important step toward strengthening academic and professional partnership in the fields of Psychology and mental health through specialized training opportunities, exchange of expertise, and support for graduate employability and workforce development in the Sultanate of Oman.

وقّعت كلية مزون مذكرة تفاهم مع “تمكن” - مبادرة تدريبية من مركز الحارب الطبي، حيث وقّع الاتفاقية الدكتور حمود بن عامر الوردي ممثلًا عن كلية مزون، والدكتورة نتيلة الخروصية، الرئيس التنفيذي والمؤسس لمركز الحارب الطبي، ممثلة عن المركز.
