Making Waves in Sustainable Engineering! ๐
On December 4, our very own Dr. Vera Karla Caingles and Engr. Genevieve Gabule proudly represented our institution at the 2nd IAJES Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, successfully presenting their cutting-edge research to an international audience.
Dr. Cainglesโ study, titled โPhysical Properties and Morphological Structures of Lignocellulosic Fibers as Natural Geotextile Materials,โ explores the potential of natural fibers in eco-friendly geotechnical applications, promoting sustainable alternatives to synthetic materials.
Engr. Gabuleโs research, โInnovative Clay-Fly Ash Composite as a Sustainable Landfill Liner Material in the Philippines,โ focuses on developing practical, sustainable solutions for waste management, addressing environmental challenges in landfill design.
Their participation not only showcases the innovative research coming from our institution but also strengthens our presence in the international engineering and sustainability community.
Congratulations, Dr. Caingles and Engr. Gabule, for your outstanding contributions and for putting our institution on the global map! ๐
