Every successful journey begins with a dream, and every step forward brings us closer to the future we once imagined. Behind every achievement are sacrifices, challenges, and valuable experiences that shape who we become. 𝗠𝘀. Every successful journey begins with a dream, and every step forward brings us closer to the future we once imagined. Behind every achievement are sacrifices, challenges, and valuable experiences that shape who we become. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱, an alumna of 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗠𝗖𝗖), is a testament to the power of perseverance, gratitude, and the courage to pursue one's dreams beyond familiar horizons.
‎
‎As a graduate of 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟰, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 began her journey as a student with dreams, hopes, and uncertainties about what the future would bring. Her years at MCC became an important foundation for her personal and professional growth. The knowledge, values, lessons, and meaningful experiences she gained during college helped prepare her for the opportunities and challenges that awaited her beyond graduation.
‎
‎Today, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆/𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Her career has brought her far from home, allowing her to serve guests from different parts of the world while gaining valuable professional experience in the international cruise industry. Her journey reflects how the education and foundation built during college can become stepping stones toward opportunities beyond one's expectations.
‎
‎Despite working overseas, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 carries with her a deep sense of gratitude for the institution that helped shape her dreams. She recognizes the important role played by her professors, mentors, classmates, friends, and the entire MCC community in helping her become the person and professional she is today. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆—the place where her dreams began to take shape before she found the courage and opportunity to pursue them.
‎
‎𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹'𝘀 journey reminds current MCCians that success does not happen overnight. It is built through patience, hard work, sacrifices, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain. Her story also shows that 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. There is no need to have everything figured out from the beginning; what matters is to remain grateful, trust the process, and continue working toward one's aspirations.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱, a proud MCC alumna whose journey from the classroom to the international cruise industry serves as an inspiration to the next generation of MCCians. Every journey begins with a dream, and with dedication, passion, and the right opportunities, that dream can become a reality. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀, an alumna of 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗠𝗖𝗖), completed her 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗠), 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. Her college experience helped her discover her potential, strengthen her leadership abilities, and develop the communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills that would later become essential in her professional career.

One of the most memorable experiences that influenced her career path was her 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿, where she experienced domestic travel and rode an airplane for the first time. This experience sparked her interest in the aviation industry and deepened her passion for a career centered on travel, cultural diversity, and service. What made the experience even more meaningful was that the airline she flew with was 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗶𝗿—the same airline she proudly works for today. Her involvement in the 𝗟𝗧𝗦𝗣 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and participation in school activities, including the Flight Attendant Showmanship, also helped enhance her leadership, confidence, and readiness for her chosen profession.

Today, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗶𝗿, turning the dream that began during her college years into a fulfilling career. The knowledge and training she gained through Tourism Management continue to help her communicate effectively, provide quality customer service, and connect with passengers from diverse backgrounds. Her journey is a testament to how educational experiences, practical exposure, and a willingness to learn can open doors to meaningful professional opportunities.

For current MCCians who aspire to follow a similar path, Thrisia encourages them to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. She emphasizes the importance of making the most of college life by participating in activities that build skills and confidence. Above all, she reminds students to believe in themselves, remain resilient through challenges, and keep working toward their goals, knowing that every experience gained today can help prepare them for the opportunities of tomorrow.

The 𝗠𝗖𝗖 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 proudly celebrates 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀 and her inspiring journey from an MCCian with a dream to a professional in the aviation industry. May her story encourage future graduates to pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination. 🎓✈️❤️
