Holy Angel University has more than 16,000 students, making it one of the biggest schools in Central Luzon. Nepomuceno, it is considered the Philippines' first Catholic school founded by a layman instead of the usual diocese or religious congregation. It is also the first Catholic high school in the country that is co-educational, instead of the usual exclusively for boys or exclusively for girls.

Theology 101 students took part in the Bible Conference 2026 on September 18 at the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels, centered on the theme, “Eternity Begins Now: The Four Last Things – Knowing Our End, Transforming Our Present through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition.”

Facilitated by Rev. Fr. Gian Sagum, the conference invited students to reflect on the Four Last Things—Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell—in the light of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. The discussion emphasized that these are not merely realities associated with the end of earthly life, but profound teachings that invite Christians to examine their choices, deepen their faith, and live with greater purpose in the present.

The Christian Living Education (CLE) Department and the Campus Ministry Office (CMO) organized a recollection for Theology 103 students on September 17 at the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels.

Centered on the theme “Experiencing God’s Love through the Sacraments,” Rev. Fr. Angel Amir Gamboa emphasized that the sacraments are living encounters with God’s love rather than mere rituals or requirements of faith.

The recollection culminated in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, serving as a reminder that the sacraments are gifts of communion that draw individuals closer to God.

The School of Computing’s (SOC) Multimedia Aficionados for Interested Artists (MAFIA), in partnership with Project Kamay, hosted the Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (EMC) Tour on September 23 at St. Joseph Hall (SJH) Academic Hall.

The activity broadened participants' perspectives on EMC, highlighting its diverse academic and creative opportunities while emphasizing the importance of embracing authentic human creativity and maintaining creative integrity in an AI-driven world.

Guest speakers Mac Gatmaitan, Jhong Gonzales, and Sebastian Nucum, all EMC alumni, shared their experiences, insights, and stories from their professional journeys, inspiring participants to explore the possibilities within the entertainment and multimedia industry.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗕𝗘𝗗) held its 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 on September 24, 2026, at the PGN Building, bringing together Angelites in a dynamic exchange of ideas on pressing social and political issues.

The event was held in partnership with 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, PTV’s flagship youth-oriented program, providing young Filipinos with platforms to engage in meaningful discussions and debates on relevant issues.

The Iskoolmates Debate served as the culminating event of 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘄: 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗛) 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held from September 21 to 24, with the theme, “Ugnayan ng Kultura, Kaalaman, at Pagkilos para sa Nagbabagong Mundo.”

The celebration sought to deepen appreciation for culture and empower the youth to become more aware, critical, creative, and engaged amid the changes shaping the world today.

The 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗛𝗧𝗠) brought the Philippines to life through its annual 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on September 23, at Plaza San Jose, DJDN Building. The exhibition showcased the rich culture, heritage, landscapes, and stories of different regions through the creativity of freshman SHTM students.

Featuring 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗭𝗢𝗡, 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮, and 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗜𝗥), the expo offered visitors a glimpse of the Philippines’ diverse tourism destinations in one exciting showcase.

The SHTM Travel Expo 2026 provided students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in Philippine tourism, express their creativity, and develop skills that prepare them for the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry.
