IN OCTOBER, WE WEAR PINK!💗

Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow uncontrollably. It is one of the most common cancers among women worldwide, but early detection and timely treatment can significantly improve outcomes.

KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS:
🎀A lump or thickening in the breast or underarm a
🎀Changes in breast size, shape, or appearance
🎀Skin dimpling, redness, or unusual changes
🎀Changes in the ni**le or unusual discharge, including blood
💗KNOW YOUR BODY. Be aware of changes in your breasts and seek medical attention if you notice anything unusual-even if it doesn't hurt. Not all breast lumps are cancerous, but every unusual change deserves attention.

REMEMBER: Breast cancer can affect anyone, and most people diagnosed have no known family history. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can save lives. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let's spread awareness, encourage early detection, and stand in solidarity with every fighter, survivor, and family affected by breast cancer.🎀

Awareness today. Early detection. Better tomorrows.

The enrollment period for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027 commenced on Monday, October 26, amid technical difficulties affecting the campus student portal, resulting in delays in the encoding of courses and sections for all SNAMS students.

In view of the ongoing technical difficulties, the encoding of student courses and sections has been temporarily suspended. While payment of entrance fees continues, students have been instructed to submit their official receipts at MGN 201. They are required to indicate their active student email addresses on the back of their receipts. Additionally, third-year Nursing students must provide their respective section or block assignments from the previous semester.

Students who have submitted their official receipts will have their courses and sections encoded once the student portal is restored and the system becomes fully operational. Subsequently, email notifications will be sent to students once the encoding process has been completed, providing instructions regarding the retrieval of their official receipts and Certificates of Registration (COR).

Meanwhile, the SNAMS’s Faculty Office clarified that enrollment arrangements will vary across programs and year levels. For Nursing students, enrollment for first-, second-, and fourth-year students will remain on a first-come, first-served basis, while third-year students will be assigned to their respective block sections.

For Radiologic Technology (RadTech) and Medical Technology (MedTech) students across all year levels, section assignments will be determined by their respective chairpersons.

Regarding system-related concerns, students are advised to remain in contact with the College Student Council (CSC) and their assigned ushers for updates and further instructions. Students may also raise their concerns at the designated help desks located at the MGN Building.

As of writing, the scheduled enrollment for SNAMS students on Wednesday, October 28, will proceed according to the following timetable:

SNAMS Enrollment Schedule — October 28, 2026 (Wednesday)

* Fourth Year: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
* Third Year: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
* Second Year: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
* First Year: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Students are encouraged to monitor official announcements from the CSC and their respective departments for further updates regarding the enrollment process and the resolution of the portal issues.
