Building a Safer and More Prepared Lasallian Community! 🩺✨

The USLS Health Services Center successfully conducted a Basic First Aid Lecture on June 11, 2026, for the BEU HELE and MAPEH Teachers.

The session, facilitated by one of our School Nurses, Nurse Aldwin provided essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to common emergencies, promoting safety, preparedness, and confidence in handling first aid situations.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, we strengthen our commitment to creating a safer and healthier environment for everyone.

📣 HELP MINDANAO RECOVER FROM THE EARTHQUAKE 🌏

The De La Salle Brothers Inc. has partnered with the Diocese of Marbel - Social Action Center to launch Operation Uplift, which is dedicated to bringing immediate aid, hope, and recovery to the affected communities.

The Diocese of Marbel encompasses General Santos City, South Cotabato, and Sarangani, which are the closest to the epicenter of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

🦟 June is Dengue Awareness Month! 🦟

Dengue remains a serious threat to our children, families, and communities. The good news? Prevention starts with simple actions at home.

The Philippine Pediatric Society – Negros Occidental Chapter, through its Community and Child Advocacy Committee on Public Health Education, joins the nation in promoting the 5S Kontra Dengue campaign:

✅ Search and Destroy mosquito breeding sites
✅ Self-Protective Measures such as wearing long sleeves and using mosquito repellents
✅ Seek Early Consultation when symptoms appear
✅ Say Yes to Fogging during outbreaks when recommended by health authorities
✅ Sustain Hydration and Healthy Habits

Every small step makes a big difference in protecting our children from dengue.

🩺⛑️ Basic First Aid Lecture for ICA Students

Last May 12, 2026, the ICA students participated in a Basic First Aid Lecture conducted by School Nurse Deb. The session provided essential knowledge and practical guidance on responding to common emergencies, promoting safety awareness, and equipping students with valuable life-saving skills.

Through this activity, students gained a better understanding of how to remain calm and provide appropriate assistance during emergency situations.
