We proudly celebrate the remarkable contribution of CABECS to CSA-Bโs victory as Rank 83 in the WURI (World University Rankings for Innovation) under the C6 Category: Inclusive Social Innovation for the Underserved.
Through its inspiring entry Gabay sa Hanapbuhay, CABECS highlights its strong commitment to empowering learners and communities by providing meaningful guidance toward sustainable livelihood and employment opportunities leading to economic upliftment. It shows innovation in education that goes beyond the classroomโbridging academic learning with real-world impact.
This meaningful initiative was organized by the CABECS Student Council, in collaboration with the JPIA, JAISA, MAREX, HM Club, Travel Society, ACS, and the BSBA 2A Feasibility Class, together with the dedicated support of the CABECS Faculty and SHS Teachers, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and in coordination with the CEPO, for the benefit of Purok Villagracia, Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City.
The concept of Gabay sa Hanapbuhay was developed during the Leadership Training conducted in 2025, an initiative led by Desiree Bastian, CABECS Student Council Governor, and John Pol Villafuerte, Vice Governor for External Affairs, demonstrating how student leadership and collaboration can transform ideas into impactful community programs.
Through this, CSA-B continues to champion service, leadership, and transformation, staying true to its mission of forming graduates who are not only competent but also socially responsive and future-ready. This achievement also reflects its unwavering dedication to creating inclusive and transformative initiatives that respond to the needs of underserved communitiesโopening pathways to opportunity, empowerment, and sustainable development.
๐ Congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone achievement! Your collective effort truly embodies service, leadership, and innovation in action.
