‎Warmest greetings to all CSG graduates!

‎Thank you for your dedication, service, and commitment. You proved that leadership isn't built in loud moments or fame, but in quiet consistency: to serve with purpose and finishing the academic year with accountability and resilience. You demonstrated that real strength comes through service, and that grand speeches mean nothing without action.

You became graduates not defined by position, but by the purpose behind choosing service and integrity over recognition. You faced obstacles as students by requirement and as leaders by responsibility, and those dual roles forged who you are and what you have accomplished.

The demands for your time and effort were divided, and even your responsibilities and schedules tested you, yet you answered them with determination and consistency. With perseverance and dedication, you proved that you can finish your purpose and carry your duty.

A Historic Day of Freedom for Filipinos

“The youth is the hope of the future,” a famous line from José Rizal that reminds every generation that freedom must be valued, protected, and passed on.

On June 12, 1898, in Kawit, Cavite, Filipinos declared independence from Spanish colonial rule and raised the Philippine national flag for the first time, marking the start of the country’s independence.

Today, the country observes Philippine Independence Day, honoring the bravery and sacrifices of Filipinos who fought for freedom and reminding everyone of the importance of unity and patriotism in preserving it.

Your voice has been heard!

Tonight, after thorough validation and the official canvassing process, the Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) has declared the official winners of the Central Student Government Elections 2026, who will now serve the student body for Academic Year 2026–2027 with truth, integrity, and commitment.

In an online election where every single vote truly mattered, Alpha Grace D. Samillano, as CSG President, and Earl Nicole C. Belgar, as CSG Vice President, met the required 20% voter turnout of the student population.

Together with the entire CSG 2026 slate, they have been formally declared the new student leaders of Bacolod City College.

Presented below is the official voter turnout for the Central Student Government (CSG) Election 2026.

A total of 1,974 students cast their votes out of the 4,528 enrolled students of Bacolod City College, resulting in an overall voter turnout of 43.59% with 1440 total valid votes and 534 invalid ballots.

Official Departmental Voter Turnout:

𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗼𝗘𝗱) – 543/871 (62.34%)
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗕𝗢𝗔) – 1,052/2,501 (42.06%)
𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗦) – 305/915 ( 33.33%)

The turnout reflects the collective voice of the student body in choosing their next set of student leaders.

CSG Election 2026 avoids a failure of elections after the voter turnout surpasses the required 20% of the total student population.

• Official Google Form links are sent by COMSELEC commissioners in department group chats (not posted on the BCC‑CSG page).

• Voting window: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, June 8, 2026. Submissions outside this time won’t count.

• One Gmail account = one vote.

• Upload clear photos of your valid SCHOOL ID (2nd Sem 2025–2026 sticker) OR Certificate of Enrollment. Blurry/cropped files may disqualify your vote.

𝗦𝗜𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀

SIKLABan 2026 is an online grand rally for the BCC Central Student Government Elections. It gives official candidates a platform to share their plans and proposals for improving the student body and college.

Here are the following guidelines for the SIKLABan 2026:

1. The online grand rally will happen thru a zoom meeting and will be aired online at the BCC - Central Student Government page from 7:00PM until 9:00PM.

2. The official candidates are only allowed to enter the zoom meeting alongside with the COMSELEC.

3. During the opening statement, each candidates will be given 30 seconds to introduce themselves, their platforms, and etc.

4. The opening statement will start from the Board Members up to the Presidential Candidates. The order of the party-list are as follows:

a. ALAB
b. SINAG
c. SPARK
d. INDEPENDENT

5. After the opening statement is the question and answer portion. Each of the candidates will be also given 30 seconds to answer the questions while the President and the Vice-President will be given a one-minute timer. The order of positions for the question and answer portion are a follows:

a. President and Vice-President of ALAB
(1 same question from the public and 1 same question from COMSELEC. They will be given one minute to answer the same question.)

b. Senators of ALAB, INDEPENDENT
(1 question from the public or 1 from COMSELEC)

c. Board Members of ALAB, SINAG, SPARK
(1 question from the public or COMSELEC)

d. Governors and Vice-Governors of ALAB, SINAG, SPARK
(1 question from the public and 1 from COMSELEC)

Important things to remember during the grand rally:

1. Negative Campaigning is STRICLTY PROHIBITED
- involves attacking or criticizing your opponents rather than focusing on your own qualifications and platforms.

2. Using of profane and vulgar words is NOT allowed.

3. Always practice a respectful and courteous behavior during the grand rally.
