From whispered prayers to nationwide acclaim, Bacolod City College (BCC) proudly ranks 5th in the March Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) 2025, secondary level, under Category B, which includes 100 to 299 examinees.
In the Secondary Level, 92 out of 94 first-time takers passed, along with 3 out of 8 re-takers. This brings the total to 95 passers out of 102 examinees, reflecting a commendable 93.14% passing rate for BCCโs aspiring secondary educators.
Meanwhile, in the Elementary Level, BCC achieved an impressive performance with 26 out of 26 first-time takers passing the exam. Although one re-taker did not make it, the overall result stands at 26 passers out of 27 examinees โ an outstanding 96.30% passing rate.
To every taker, mentor, and believer โ this victory is not just ours, but a testament to faith, hard work, and divine guidance.
Furthermore, a total of 16,282 out of 34,810 elementary examinees (46.77%) and 38,747 out of 62,225 secondary examinees (62.27%) passed the exam. Among the passers, 13,819 elementary and 32,624 secondary teachers were first-time takers, while 2,463 elementary and 6,123 secondary teachers were repeaters, as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT).
