๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ โ The STI West Negros University ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 under the leadership of the schoolโs NSTP head,LTC REY T ESLABON (Res) PA, together with the honored guest, COL DON L VILLANUEVA GSC (INF) PA.
The program officially started at 0745H with Khesly Ann M Plomeda serving as the master of ceremony. A prayer was offered at 0748H, followed by the welcome remarks of Dr Norie Nietes.LTC REY T ESLABON (Res) PA also welcomed the guests, officers, and cadets who participated in the activity. Afterwards, Sgt. Jake Lauren S Mercado introduced the RAATI Evaluation Team composed of Chairperson, COL DON L VILLANUEVA GSC (INF) PA, TSg Elreigh Eric C Aromin (Inf) PA, TSg Joel S Asis (Inf) PA, SSg Milover T Nardo (MI) PA, SSg Renniel Advincula (Inf) PA, Sgt Jofer A Lumawag (Inf) PA, PFC Shirley S Tolentino (Inf) PA, SSg Jun Paul S De Juan (MS) PA, and SSg Darrel G Fuego (MS) PA
At 0806H, the ceremonial parade began, showing the discipline and teamwork of the cadets. This was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem at 0815H and the inspection of ranks at 0833H. During the inspection, the cadets displayed proper military bearing, discipline, and confidence while performing their assigned tasks and commands.
Throughout the evaluation, the STI West Negros University ROTC Unit showed good performance in both administrative and tactical activities. The unit received high scores in administration and management, arrival honors, ceremonial parade, inspection in arms, and close order drills. The cadets also performed well in the military stakes, particularly in movement techniques, map reading, basic life support, M16 handling, and the comprehensive examination.
With an overall weighted average of 92.56%, the result reflected the hard work, preparation, and dedication of the officers, trainers, and cadets of the ROTC Unit. The universityโs ROTC unit ranked first (1st) on the whole Negros Occidental. The activity became a successful demonstration of discipline, leadership, and teamwork among the students.
The RAATI 2026 ended with pride and appreciation as the STI West Negros University ROTC Unit once again proved its commitment to serving with discipline, responsibility, and excellence.
