With profound sadness, Bacolod City College mourns the passing of Gng. Mercedita Obero,
one of the pioneer faculty members of our institution.

She dedicated a life to education and service. Her work was a gift to the college and entire community. We honor her memory by carrying forward the love, compassion, and unwavering commitment she gave so generously to her students and to Bacolod City College.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and all who were blessed to have known her.
