Last October 10 saw the aspiring 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗦&𝗧 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 at the first review session of 𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗢𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗰 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘄, featuring English and Logical Reasoning 📚🧑‍⚖️

With volunteers from the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 - 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀, the participants were equipped with knowledge and insights to ace the scholarship examination 🌟

DOST Scholar Jeremiah S. Monebit, a freshman Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering student at the University of St. La Salle (USLS), continues to showcase and prove the exceptional potential of Filipino youth through his noteworthy achievements in international computer science competitions 🌟

In September 2026, Monebit ranked among the 𝙩𝙤𝙥 7% 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚 in the Final Round of the International Computer Science Competition (ICSC), competing against more than 4,300 participants globally. His achievement accentuates his technical skills, computational abilities, and fervor to innovation.

💫🚀 Now, Monebit is set to take his talents even further as he represents the Philippines and the Negros Island Region (NIR) at 𝗖𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝟭𝟯.𝟬 in San Francisco, California, USA, on October 23–25, 2026. Selected for the prestigious collegiate hackathon through his independently developed AI-powered campus navigation application, he will join over 3,000 students from universities around the world in creating innovative technological solutions.

As he brings his wit and ideas to the international stage, Monebit carries not only the skills and experiences he has gained, but also the opportunity to bring new innovative ideas home to inspire and contribute to the local scientific community 🇵🇭

Two scholars from the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 - 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 brought their passion, talent, and Lasallian spirit to the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, held on September 3–6 in Koronadal City, SOCCSKSARGEN.

Representing 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 and 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, 21 DOST-SEI scholars joined fellow scholars from across the country in plenary sessions, workshops, interactive activities, and competitions that celebrated scholarship, leadership, and service 🌠

⛵️✨ Driven with the mindset of transforming learning and competing to connecting with one another, delegates 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻 and 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗝𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗮𝗻 showed that dreams become more meaningful when carried with purpose, passion, and a commitment to serve.
