πŸ“° CICT | PARENT ORIENTATION 2026

The College of Information and Communications Technology successfully concluded its Parent Orientation 2026, bringing together parents, guardians, faculty members, student leaders, and the CICT community for a meaningful morning of information, dialogue, and collaboration.

The orientation provided parents with valuable insights into the BS Computer Science and BS Information Technology programs, faculty members, outreach initiatives, payment channels, and student organizations. It also served as an avenue to clarify concerns regarding ICT Provincial Scholarships, helping parents and students gain a better understanding of available opportunities and related processes.

Beyond information-sharing, the program also opened the floor for questions, clarifications, and discussions concerning student-related concerns, allowing issues to be addressed and providing parents with clearer guidance and support for their children's academic journey.

Together, we build a stronger CICT community. πŸ’™

What a way to kick off the new school year with our CICT Freshies!

From the games, cheers, and non-stop energy to the laughs, new friendships, and random moments in between, Freshmen Link-Up was definitely a day to remember.

The College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) successfully concluded its Student Orientation A.Y. 2026-2027 on August 14, 2026, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and student leaders for a meaningful morning of learning, connection, and preparation for the academic year ahead.

The orientation provided students with essential insights into the BS Information Technology and BS Computer Science programs, laboratory rules and responsibilities, payment channels, outreach initiatives, and the various student organizations and leadership opportunities within the CICT community.

More than an orientation, the event served as a reminder that the journey of every CICT student goes beyond the classroom. It is a journey built on knowledge, innovation, leadership, collaboration, and service.
With new knowledge, renewed motivation, and a stronger sense of community, CICT students are now ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that await in the new academic year.

Prepare all your school essentials to start the semester right. Don't forget to bring your Certificate of Registration (COR), notebooks, pens, and other materials needed for your classes.

Be informed about your first-day activities and important reminders. For our first-year students, get ready to locate your assigned classrooms, familiarize yourselves with the campus, and make new friends as you begin your STI journey.

Follow the official STI dress code and come dressed appropriately.
For first-year students who do not yet have their school uniform, appropriate civilian attire is allowed. Please adhere to the University's dress code and grooming guidelines.
