The most anticipated night for Communication students, โ๐๐ข๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐,โ finally happened. The COMMares and COMMpares walked the red carpet dressed with elegance and pride with the theme โ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐โ, celebrating the night at Hotel Supreme Diamond Grand Ballroom last May 24, 2026.
COMM Laureates Night is celebrated by SLU BA Communication students and faculty, from freshmen to seniors, in recognition of their achievements and contributions to the COMMunity that shapes the future of society. The annual awards night is yet again filled with dazzling gowns and suits worn by the COMMpamilya, shining rich from head to toes reflecting that both inside and outside the COMMpamilya carries the same light of creativity, commitment, and integrity that shines through โจ.
The event was opened with warm welcoming remarks by the Language and Communication Department Head Dr. Joselita Ferrer, who praised students for translating learnings into meaningful projects that expand outside the four walls of the classroom and have a community impact. The night continued shining brightly as performances from students lit the stage. From melodic song covers and originals, and an energetic dance performance the night continues to be hyped with the COMMunityโs vigor spirit ๐บ๐ชฉ.
Beyond the awards, the night was dedicated to the seniors, ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ, who are graduating this year๐งโ๐๐ฉโ๐. Their skills and enthusiasm filled their internship with more than just learning but a COMMunity that reminds them to continue to tell stories that are change-driven and powerful. Making a mark in the world and on the younger batches who look up to them. A tribute to the seniors that highlights their achievements and illuminates the lives of other people through how they impacted their lives. A testimony that Batch Echo has served the COMMunity with respect, creativity, and leadership. With people close to their hearts sending messages to each of them ๐.
The night does not end with just goodbyes, but the stage is yet again lit with flashing lights and speakers on volume as music blasts in the grand ballroom to conclude the night on a high note. COMMares and COMMpares dance through the music and strut their poses as photos are constantly taken. A night to be remembered and treasured by the COMMpamilya. Marking the resilience and strength of each student in the COMMunity๐๐งกโค๏ธ.
