🇮🇹 From the grand concert halls of Europe to the world’s digital stages, DINGDONG FIEL is no stranger to excellence. A celebrated concert pianist, composer, conductor, and musical director, he made history in 2023 by performing 12 solo piano concerts—a feat never before achieved on Philippine soil.

📚 A graduate of the UST Conservatory of Music, Dingdong was awarded the Rector’s Award for Academic Excellence and later pursued postgraduate studies in Germany under world-renowned mentors. His music has graced cities in Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan, the US, and more, and his original compositions have even been featured in international film festivals.

𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦' 𝗕𝗜𝗢

𝙅𝙤𝙗 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙖 is a cellist from Baguio City, Philippines. He was the first cellist of the UB Chamber Orchestra since its founding in 2010, and since 2011, he has guided the cellists of the UB Chamber Orchestra. He has also been featured in UB as a solo performer along with pianists Divina Bautista and Jenifer Marigza.

He earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music under Dr. Renato Lucas, and previously trained with Celia Narzo and Eduardo Pasamba at the University of the Philippines College of Music. A turning point in his artistic path came through receiving instruction from Dutch cellist and international scholar Job ter Haar, whose mentorship inspired him to pursue a deeper engagement with Early Music. He will continue this path under the guidance of Prof. Stefan Fuchs at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Germany, where he will begin his Master of Music in Baroque Cello this October 2025.

𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙜 is a fourth-year Bachelor of Arts in Music student at the University of Baguio, where she studied cello with Job Polvoriza. She has also collaborated with him as his continuo cellist in various performances. As Job departs for further studies in Germany, Dannah assumes his responsibility by taking his former students from Isabela and Las Piñas under her guidance. She currently serves as President of both the University of Baguio Chamber Orchestra and the Rondalla, roles through which she demonstrates leadership, commitment, and dedication to the advancement of ensemble performance within the university community.

Here are highlights from the Sounds of the Nightingale concert that happened on August 19 at the University of Baguio Centennial Hall 🎉 We were all delighted by the serenade that the performers gave us 🥺❤️ And to our main artist, Filipino-British Soprano Jean Clara Cartwright, thank you for gracing us with your voice. With you, we were able to witness how a nightingale truly sounds ✨
