Gordon College CCS 2nd Community Extension Services Ceremonial Turnover🤝🏻

Another year of innovation, collaboration, and community engagement comes full circle as the Gordon College - College of Computer Studies (GC-CCS) Community Extension Services Unit (CESU) proudly presents its 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 on May 6, 2026 at the Olongapo City Civic Center.

This milestone celebrates the continued impact of BSCS and BSIT through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝗗𝗲𝘃 and BSEMC through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗫, strengthening the shared commitment of CCS students and faculty to deliver sustainable solutions for our partner-beneficiaries across various sectors.

Gordon College CCS Project Upskill: DepEd JHS and SHS Teachers💡

In line with the preparation for the 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱 in February, 2025, with the theme “TEKNOLOHIYA: Transforming Education through Knowledge, Nurturing Opportunities, and Leveraging Oriented Human Inclusivity for Youth Advancement,” Gordon College – College of Computer Studies (GC-CCS) Community Extension Services Unit (CESU) will be launching 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗝𝗛𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, an upskilling program for DepEd Junior and Senior High School Teachers, with the theme “Empowering Educators for the Digital Age: Bridging the Gap with Technology” on November 14 and 21, 2025, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Gordon College, Olongapo City.

The training program will focus on essential technology skills across six key areas:

1. Capture the Flag (Cybersecurity)
2. Game Design
3. Animation
4. Video Editing
5. Scratch Programming
6. Graphics and Design

Gordon College CCS Project Code Connect: Sta. Rita High School💡

Gordon College - College of Computer Studies (GC-CCS) Community Extension Services Unit (CESU) will be relaunching 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, an annual training program for DepEd Senior High School Students, with the theme “Bridging Communities through Basic Coding and Programming Skills” on July 30, 2025.

This initiative aims to equip TVL-ICT Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of Sta. Rita High School, Olongapo City with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in computer programming.

The program will cover the following core topics:
1. Introduction to Programming Concepts: Variables, data types, input/output, and basic syntax using a beginner-friendly language (e.g., Python).
2. Logic Building and Problem Solving: Hands-on exercises that develop logical reasoning and algorithmic thinking.
3. Simple Projects and Applications: Students will be guided in creating their own basic programs as practical applications of the concepts learned.

In partnership with the Gordon College- Human Resource Management Unit (GC-HRMU), Gordon College - College of Computer Studies (GC-CCS) Community Extension Services Unit (CESU) will be launching 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹: 𝗢𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀, an upskilling program for the employees of Olongapo City - Local Government Unit (LGU), with the theme “Empowering Workforce for the Digital Age: Bridging the Gap with Technology” this June and July, 2025 at Gordon College, Olongapo City.

Gordon College - College of Computer Studies (GC-CCS) Community Extension Services Unit (CESU) proudly presents its first-ever 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿, with the theme “Bridging Communities and Technology: Celebrating Innovation, Service, and Impact”, to be held on June 18, 2025 at the Gordon College Function Hall.

This milestone event highlights the ongoing efforts of BSCS and BSIT through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝗗𝗲𝘃 and BSEMC through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗫, year-round initiatives involving CCS students and faculty in the development of customized information systems and creative projects for various partner-beneficiaries across different sectors.

Gordon College CCS 11th Phoenix Olympiad💡

Time flies! It's been a month since the 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱 last February 28, in celebration of the 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, yet the achievements and unforgettable moments from that day continue to inspire us.
