The 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚, 𝑨𝑺𝑪𝑶𝑻, led by Dr. Mark Lester G. Cunanan as Proponent, in collaboration with other faculty members of the School of Industrial Technology, successfully implemented the Alay Kabuhayan Program—a technology-based livelihood training initiative aimed at enhancing the skills, productivity, and economic resilience of coastal communities.

The program served a total of 90 participants, distributed as follows:
• 30 participants – Bangus Bottling Training
• 30 participants – Basic Small Engine Repair for Fisherfolk
• 30 participants – Automatic Fish Feeder Training
The activity was conducted on December 18–19, 2025, at Barangay Dibut, San Luis, Aurora.

This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to sustainable community development through the transfer of appropriate technologies and capacity-building interventions.

December 19, 2025 — The Council of Deans convened to discuss the Policy on Monetary Incentives and Recognition for Board/Licensure Examination Topnotchers. The meeting focused on the establishment of a structured incentive scheme for graduates who attain top placements in board/licensure examinations, as well as the institutional recognition of the schools or academic units from which these topnotchers graduated through the awarding of a plaque of recognition.
The policy aims to formally acknowledge academic excellence, encourage high standards of performance, and recognize the collective contributions of both graduates and their respective academic units in achieving outstanding results in professional examinations.

ASCOT Continues ISO 9001:2015 Audit Proper with Key Offices and Academic Units
The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) is on its Day 2 of the ISO 9001:2015 Audit Proper, with several academic units and administrative offices undergoing evaluation as part of the institution’s commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
The auditees for Day 2 include the School of Industrial Technology, School of Engineering, Library, Procurement Office, Supply Office, Registrar’s Office, Budget Office, Accounting Unit, Office of Student Affairs (OSA), and the Research and Development Office.
ASCOT remains steadfast in upholding a culture of quality, accountability, and excellence in pursuit of internationally recognized standards.

December 18, 2025| The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) is currently undertaking the Audit Proper of ISO 9001:2015, reaffirming the institution’s strong commitment to quality management, continuous improvement, and delivery of effective services to its stakeholders.
The audit proper involves a thorough evaluation of ASCOT’s processes, systems, and documented practices to ensure sustained compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards. This activity reflects the active participation and cooperation of administrators, faculty, and staff across various offices and units.
Through this audit, ASCOT continues to strengthen its culture of quality, accountability, and excellence, ensuring that institutional operations remain aligned with internationally recognized standards.
The conduct of the ISO 9001:2015 Audit Proper marks another milestone in ASCOT’s ongoing pursuit of quality assurance and organizational effectiveness.
